Marvel Announces “Bring On The Bad Guys” Variant Covers

I’m using the visual of a very classic collected edition that Marvel released way back in 1976 called “Bring On The Bad Guys”. The book featured the origins of some of their most sinister villains and was the companion to both “Origins Of Marvel Comics” and “Son Of Origins”. I’m certain that all have been reprinted and can be purchased today but I digress. This was used to laud the latest batch of variant covers that will be hitting the monthly issues listed below.

LEGO To Unveil Lifesize “Thanos” Statue @ SDCC 2018

If you’ve been following along with the steady stream of content for the upcoming Comic Con International: San Diego (which begins this week), you have already gotten to enjoy a whole gamut of the coolness that is heading to the homes of collectors and fans that attend. If you’ve missed these posts just click HERE for the rundown.

Today, LEGO announced the unveiling of the latest LEGO life-size model that will debut at San Deigo Comic-Con – Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War. The 450-pound model is about 8-and-a-half feet tall, contains 91,350 bricks, and it took LEGO Master Builders 418 hours to design and build. The photos provided come from LEGO Official Press. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Isn’t this awesome? Holy mackerel what an imposing statue and one that I wish I was going to be able to see in person. Most of you already know we are not doing SDCC so if you get to this take some photos and load to Instagram. Marvel Comics First Issues Coming In April 2018

Hello my friends, today is one of those wild occurrences because its not only the Passover and Easter holidays, but its also April Fools Day and we hope that this notice finds you well. I’m ready to start an exciting month of media stuff and will be dishing out the first issues and special occurences that are heading to the racks of our local comic book retailer from the Marvel Comics side of the fence down below. So, without any further adieu, let’s get down to business. As always the larger copy and visuals come from the publicity side of the House Of Ideas but these bookend editorial notes are all us. Remember that many issues have variant covers and there are dozens of other concurrently running titles on the stands that we do not feature here.
