Bandai Namco Toys and Collectibles America Announces Activations for NYCC 2022

For NYCC attendees that had missed the epic Dragon Ball Experience booth from San Diego Comic-Con or the jaw-dropping One Piece U.S.A Tour Booth featured at Anime Expo, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America (BNTCA) has got them covered! Coming in hot to NYCC 2022, these booths will make a grand reappearance in addition to booths dedicated to Tamashii Nations, Bandai Hobby, MegaHouse, Shokugan, Tamagotchi, Dragon Stars, Anime Heroes, Gundam, Studio Ghibli, nanoblock and unique Demon Slayer exhibit, designed after the show’s Japan-inspired setting!

Tamashii Nations @ New York Comic Con 2021

As I’ve reported in a number of posts that have preceded this one, the PiercingMetal Media Command HQ was once again in attendance at the mega-event known as the New York Comic Con. Click HERE to see all of the posts that preceded this one in a new browser tab. Now with the absence of Toy Fair this year I’ve decided to do some spotlight posts as I saw the means to do so with this year’s NYCC presentations. Here is some of the awesome that was to be found at the Tamashii Nations section. I’ll start with this amazing and gigantic statue of Godzilla.

Scenes From New York Comic Con 2021: Day One Part 1

The New York Comic Con was returning to an in-person event at the Javits Center but it wouldn’t be “the same” in terms of the way that it was going to be held. With the virus still among us, the patrons needed to show a proof of full vaccinations which is either two doses of Pfizer or Moderna or one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. I’ll begin my photographic journey with the space in the empty lot that was set up to confirm vaccination and issue a wrist band. I was okay with this need as I am taking a Covid Compliance Officer class next week to do work in this field.

One of the conditions for this year’s event was that you needed to wear a facemask that covered your mouth and nose. I’ve been wearing this kind of thing for months now since other events had started to happen and with work requirements. Our first cosplayer photo shows a unique take on Jack Skellington with her facemask.
