Breaking: The Original Misfits Return To New Jersey For Only Area Performance; 5/19 @ Prudential Center

The other day a rather “cryptic” Instsgram photo was making the rounds and causing all sorts of ruckus. It was the “Fiend” who many realize is the infamous mascot of the legendary Misfits. The visual was in the shape of NJ so all were screaming about the bands long anticipated return to the East Coast but where would they play? Well, the answers are now down below. Check it out.

The Original Misfits will finally make their triumphant return to where it all began over 30 years ago in New Jersey. Today, The Original Misfits have announced that the band will reunite for their only area performance at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on May 19. Now fans on the east coast will have their first opportunity to experience reunited original singer/songwriter Glenn Danzig and original bassist Jerry Only. This unprecedented reunion and lineup of legendary horror-punk trailblazers/modern-metal pioneers was one of the hottest tickets of 2017, and will now undoubtedly be again in 2018.

Citi(r) is the official pre-sale credit card of The Original Misfits. As such, Citi(r) card members will have access to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, January 30th at 10 a.m. EST until Thursday, February 1st at 10 p.m. EST through Citi’s Private Pass(r) program. Butcher Babies Will Join Megadeth On ‘Dystopia’ North American Tour

Hey there my dear readers, so it wasn’t too long ago that I was discussing the Megadeth tour with you right here on the website and since that time a few things have happened. The first and rather surprising news was that the band Havok was removed from the tour based on differences with the contract about the run of dates. That sucks since I feel Havok is one of the more exciting of the up and coming bands that is out there. The new news is that Butcher Babies is joining onto the tour so if you are a fan of the band this should make you a happy camper and if you’re not…….well. The press details about this are below so dig in. I’ll be back after it all.

BUTCHER BABIES have announced that they will be hitting the road with the legendary Megadeth this Fall as part of the band’s Dystopia tour in North America. Also joining them will be Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, and Metal Church. The month long tour starts in Casper, WY on September 20 and concludes on October 16 in Camden, NJ. In addition to the tour, both Butcher Babies and Megadeth will be performing at this year’s “Ozzfest Meets Knotfest” event, which takes place on September 24 & 25 in San Bernardino, CA

The summer always seems to get a little bit hotter when the Fall touring announcements start rolling in and one such disclosure is from Dave Mustaine and his mighty Megadeth who will be returning to North America for the second leg of their “Dystopia” World Tour. Their bringing along Amon Amarth as direct support which is an epic win for the Death Metal Vikings and well, you can learn all the finer details with the full press release that I am sharing below. LOS ANGELES, CA – July 18, 2016 – Global metal pioneers MEGADETH premiered their video for the new single “Post American World,” along with complete details for the fall dates for the North American leg of their Dystopia World Tour.
