PiercingMetal’s “Top Nine” Instagrams For 2019

instagram logo

Greetings my friends, we’ve arrived at the time of the year where people get to showcase their “Top Nine” images on Instagram and this reveal is done when they tabulate all of the likes across your profiles posts. Though I used Instagram quite a bit this past year I really fell behind based on just how many events I was attending. There is only so much time in the day and with major events like the Toy Fair, New York Comic Con and Anime NYC being so loaded with visuals I had my hands full. I’m going to maintain that I felt that I used this social network more than any of the other ones and I often share the images over to our Facebook and Twitter pages to spark up additional engagement. Let’s review.

About These Visuals:
Starting from the top row and working down we’ve got an amazing Nebula cosplayer from the New York Comic Con, the legendary Michael Schenker from a performance at Irving Plaza and a scene from the “Dio Returns” hologram show from afar. Next there is Miku Kobato of the all-girl Japanese Rock band Band-Maid, an amazing black and white statue of Batman from DC Collectibles and a Dave Mustaine from Megadeth statue from Knucklebonz. The last row is more live stuff with faraway visuals from the Original Misfits show and the Stryper show. Closing it all up is a popular cosplayer named Destiny Fomo. Though I was quite happy with the choices, I did expect a few different ones to be presented but the masses have spoken. All photos were taken by me of course. Now let’s examine some of the finer points about the account.

Win A Ticket For Stryper @ Stage 48 On 7/24/2016

Back in early June, Stryper was set to perform at the Stage 48 venue but due to circumstances beyond their control the show was postponed and rescheduled for this new date that you see below on the poster. I’m happy to announce that in addition to the rescheduled show, there is a new contest to get some more fans into the event. The contest below is exactly the same as the last one that we featured so check it out.

Poster - Stryper at Stage 48 - Reschedule 716

The Details: It’s always great when those Soldiers Under God’s Command drop by our Metal Metropolis for a show and once again they will be bringing their great live sound to the Stage 48 venue on the West Side of town. Though I’ve said this before I think that the attack of the yellow and black keeps many fans on a positive Metal path and while we will surely be getting some new greatness from the most recent album “Fallen”, we are closing in on the 30th Anniversary of their classic “To Hell With The Devil” album from 1986 as well. I can assure you that this is going to be a fun night of music from beginning to end and will even feature some talented local players as the opening bands. Now, add to this coolness the absolute levels of awesome in the fact that the Marketing Team behind Stage 48 who have asked PiercingMetal to hold this contest and put some people in the room for free. This excites me almost as much as the fact that the band still possesses all original members still in 2016. Read more on how to participate in this one.

When and Where: Sunday, July 24th @ Stage 48 (605 West 48nd Street, NYC)

Win A Ticket To See Stryper @ B.B. King’s on 10/4/2014

Poster - Stryper at BB Kings - 2014

The Details: The Soldiers Under God’s Command are back in the New York Groove and will be bringing their great live sound to the venerated B.B. King Blues Club once more. Personally speaking, it’s always great to have the attack of the yellow and black keep us fans on a positive Metal path and not only is the band supporting their recently released “No More Hell To Pay” album but they are sure to deliver a solid set of the classics that we all know and love. I’ve seen the band about nine times since launching PiercingMetal.com and I cannot complain about a single show. I am always left satisfied with their music and positive message to the fans. Surely this is going to be a fun night of music. Now, add to this coolness the absolute levels of awesome of the B.B. King Blues Club powers that be who asked PiercingMetal to hold a contest for the show and to put some people in the room for free. This is exciting for sure so read more on how to participate.

PiercingMetal’s “Best Of” 2013: The Concerts

At this point in time do I really need to say that I see a lot of concerts during the course of the year? I hope not because this one of the key factors that makes up my daily life as founder of the PiercingMetal brand. That said ?I wanted to once again use the Official Blog for the site to highlight a number of the shows that I attended during 2013 that I felt were the absolute best experiences. They’re not really in order of impact or importance but there are a few at the top that did hit me the hardest. Here we go.

1. Metallica @ The Apollo Theater: Thrashing like a maniac in Harlem? Yeah that happened. Classic set and free beer for the whole show. No complaints here.

2. Kamelot @ Stage 48: Returning to the headlining stage with Delain as support and Eklipse. This was a righteous show for sure. My belief in this band was reinforced yet again. I was not surprised in this.

3. Eddie Trunk 30th Anniversary Bash: Another one that I was super fortunate to participate in because an all-star jam with members of KISS, Overkill, Twisted Sister, Accept, Anthrax, Stryper, Guns n Roses and so many more is just impossible to qualify as being “an okay time”. This was insanity.

4. Trans-Siberian Orchestra @ Prudential Center: The final go round for the “Lost Christmas Eve” tour premise. Always a bombastic spectacle that needs seeing for believing.

5. Rock Allegiance Tour w/Volbeat & HIM @ Williamsburg Park: Two excellent main acts and solid support from All That Remains. Whew. Exciting for Brooklyn and you know how we roll in this borough.
