Crunchyroll Shares Anime NYC 2025 Panel Recap and Trailers

The Press Release:
Crunchyroll, the ultimate lifestyle brand for anime fandom, held its Crunchyroll Showcase panel at Anime NYC 2025 on Saturday, August 23, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

In anticipation of the epic series finale, Crunchyroll shared the first teaser visual for Fire Force Season 3 Part 2. Produced by david production, the conclusion of the red-hot animated series will begin in January 2026, streaming only on Crunchyroll.

Also shared at the Crunchyroll Showcase panel was the world premiere of the main trailer and new key visual for Let’s Play. The trailer reveals the opening theme song, “1, 2, Play,” and ending theme song “Left & Right,” will both be performed by musical artist Toshinobu Kubota. Based on the widely popular webcomic created by Leeanne Krecic (Mongie), with over 700 million views and seven million global subscribers across various platforms, the romantic comedy series is produced by OLM (Pokémon; The Apothecary Diaries) and will begin streaming on Crunchyroll on October 1.

Additionally, several acquisitions of Japanese animated series were announced, including a world premiere trailer for There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her, which fans can look forward to on Crunchyroll in the future:

Now Streaming: “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi” on Disney+ (5/27/2022)

It’s truly an exciting time to be a “Star Wars” fan because not only is the “Star Wars Celebration” going on over in Anaheim, CA but we also just received the teaser trailer for the series coming after this one with “Star Wars: Andor”. We’re not at the celebration sadly, but we are planning on waking up as early as possible to see the first two episodes of “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi” which is now streaming at the time of this post going live on the Disney+ streaming service. The Premise: The series begins with Obi-Wan Kenobi watching over Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, ten years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, and takes the character on a “rollicking adventure”.

Now Streaming: “WandaVision” on Disney+ (1/15/2021)

Well my friends, the moment has finally arrived and the very first of the Marvel Cinematic Universe group of television shows is available for streaming on the Disney+ service effective right now at the time that this post goes live. I’m speaking of course of “WandaVision” which brings us into the world of The Scarlet Witch and The Vision. The series will run week by week episodically but the first two are available today so that is pretty cool. I plan on watching them with my morning coffee because as you read this I am fast asleep. Ah the benefits of programing a post in advance. I’m really excited though that’s for sure and here is a look at the Official Poster, some premise and the casting.
