Paramount+ Presents: “Star Trek: Picard” S2 Teaser Clip

CBS All Access is gone and in its place stands Paramount+ which essentially has expanded upon the original idea and gives the fans of properties like “Star Trek” a single place to enjoy every single show ever produced and beyond. Last year, we got the debut of “Star Trek: Picard” and I’ve gotta say that it was pretty cool. Today, this new network is celebrating what they are calling “First Contact Day” as its the 25th Anniversary of the film “Star Trek: First Contact” and as a part of the whole lotta Trekkie love we are getting a teaser clip for Season Two of “Star Trek: Picard”. The S1 Premise: The series is set 20 years after Jean-Luc Picard’s last appearance in Star Trek: Nemesis (2002), and finds the character deeply affected by the destruction of Romulus as depicted in the film Star Trek.

Presenting The 1st Critics’ Choice Super Awards Winners

It was back in November that I first posted about the brand-new Critics Choice Super Awards on PiercingMetal and you might recall that I was excited about them since they were directly speaking to a number of my media interests. Yesterday, the winners were announced via a virtual ceremony because thanks to the pandemic that is the easiest way we can do stuff like this nowadays. Though we still have a ways to go, I feel that in due time more sense of normalcy will be experienced but for now you folks just chill at home and let entertainment outlets like this one offer up the things you need to know about. So I didn’t watch the virtual ceremony but am happy to share the winners circle with you all down below. Since its always beneficial to see what didn’t win when all was said and done, I have left the nominees in this narrative as well. We can discuss more about this at the close when I return. I’ve been keeping up with the upcoming CBS All Access series “Star Trek: Picard” from the time when we got the first trailer so many months ago and now that we are just about two weeks out from the shows premiere on that streaming service, I figured it might be fun to share a number of the promotional posters that I found online via the IMDB website.
