For the last few weeks it’s been a constant vibe of anticipation as to when the first look at “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was going to surface and expand Spider-Man’s presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony Pictures really had us chomping at the bit while Marvel Studios delivered new trailers for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings” and “Eternals” but now the moment has arrived and there is a teaser trailer to enjoy below. I’ve even included the premise and casting but there wasn’t any poster art to share yet. That will come in time I guess.
The Premise: Following the events of “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, in which his identity was exposed at the hands of Mysterio, Peter Parker’s life and his reputation is turned upside down. Seeking help from Doctor Strange to try and fix everything, things soon become much more dangerous and Parker must find what it really means to be Spider-Man. When we first discussed the topic of the continuation of the “Ghostbusters” franchise with “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” it was way back in December of 2019 (as seen HERE). At the time we were getting ready to welcome what was sure to be a bountiful year of to do in 2020. Then 2020 began and while it started out alright by March was an international disaster based on the global pandemic. Now as the world slowly rises to more sense of normal, a second Official Trailer has been revealed and we we prepare to enjoy it I ask you all once more “Who you gonna call?”
The Premise: A single mother and her two children move to Oklahoma after inheriting property from a previously unknown relative. They discover their family’s legacy to the original Ghostbusters, who have become something of a myth as many have long-since forgotten the events of the “Manhattan Crossrip of 1984”. As the world slowly returns to some sense of “normal” with the vaccinations against the dreaded Coronavirus, and with businesses making strides in their re-opening, many are looking forward to the upcoming films being on point once more and one of the anticipated releases comes care of Sony Pictures, the latest installment in their own “Spiderverse” Saga – “Venom Let There Be Carnage”. The Official Trailer is revealed and I’ve added some casting, and promotional artwork for you to enjoy to. Have at it.
Plot: Three years following the shuttle battle,[Note 1] Eddie Brock attempts to reignite his journalist career by creating a report on psychopathic serial killer Cletus Kasady, who awaits the death penalty. Kasady has refused to speak to anybody other than Eddie, whom he sees as his reflection. During the visit, Kasady provokes Eddie into attacking him, and he bites Eddie’s hand, ingesting part of Venom. Meanwhile, Detective Mulligan fails to find the remains of Kasady’s victims. I’ve been keeping up with the Sony Pictures release “Bloodshot” here on the website already and the last time it was discussed was with the International Trailer #2; This film opens today in theaters around the country so check out the Official Poster, premise, casting and more before I offer up my editorial rumblings about it.
The Synopsis: After he and his wife are murdered, Marine Ray Garrison is resurrected by a secret team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life.
