Sony Pictures: “Spider-Man: No Way Home” Official Teaser Trailer

For the last few weeks it’s been a constant vibe of anticipation as to when the first look at “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was going to surface and expand Spider-Man’s presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony Pictures really had us chomping at the bit while Marvel Studios delivered new trailers for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings” and “Eternals” but now the moment has arrived and there is a teaser trailer to enjoy below. I’ve even included the premise and casting but there wasn’t any poster art to share yet. That will come in time I guess.

The Premise: Following the events of “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, in which his identity was exposed at the hands of Mysterio, Peter Parker’s life and his reputation is turned upside down. Seeking help from Doctor Strange to try and fix everything, things soon become much more dangerous and Parker must find what it really means to be Spider-Man. (c/o Wiki)

Sony Pictures: “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” Official Trailer 2

When we first discussed the topic of the continuation of the “Ghostbusters” franchise with “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” it was way back in December of 2019 (as seen HERE). At the time we were getting ready to welcome what was sure to be a bountiful year of to do in 2020. Then 2020 began and while it started out alright by March was an international disaster based on the global pandemic. Now as the world slowly rises to more sense of normal, a second Official Trailer has been revealed and we we prepare to enjoy it I ask you all once more “Who you gonna call?”

The Premise: A single mother and her two children move to Oklahoma after inheriting property from a previously unknown relative. They discover their family’s legacy to the original Ghostbusters, who have become something of a myth as many have long-since forgotten the events of the “Manhattan Crossrip of 1984”.

Sony Pictures: “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” Official Trailer

As the world slowly returns to some sense of “normal” with the vaccinations against the dreaded Coronavirus, and with businesses making strides in their re-opening, many are looking forward to the upcoming films being on point once more and one of the anticipated releases comes care of Sony Pictures, the latest installment in their own “Spiderverse” Saga – “Venom Let There Be Carnage”. The Official Trailer is revealed and I’ve added some casting, and promotional artwork for you to enjoy to. Have at it.

Plot: Three years following the shuttle battle,[Note 1] Eddie Brock attempts to reignite his journalist career by creating a report on psychopathic serial killer Cletus Kasady, who awaits the death penalty. Kasady has refused to speak to anybody other than Eddie, whom he sees as his reflection. During the visit, Kasady provokes Eddie into attacking him, and he bites Eddie’s hand, ingesting part of Venom. Meanwhile, Detective Mulligan fails to find the remains of Kasady’s victims. Sony Pictures’ Funimation Acquires Anime Streaming Service Crunchyroll

Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. and AT&T Inc.* (NYSE:T) today announced that AT&T agreed to sell its Crunchyroll anime business to Funimation Global Group, LLC. Funimation is a joint venture between Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. and Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc.’s subsidiary, Aniplex Inc.

Crunchyroll is a premier anime direct-to-consumer service within AT&T’s WarnerMedia segment with more than 3 million SVOD subscribers and growing. It serves 90 million registered users across more than 200 countries and territories offering AVOD, mobile games, manga, events merchandise and distribution. The combination of Crunchyroll and Funimation provides the opportunity to broaden distribution for their content partners and expand fan-centric offerings for consumers.

Now In Theaters: Sony Pictures “Bloodshot” (3/13/2020)

I’ve been keeping up with the Sony Pictures release “Bloodshot” here on the website already and the last time it was discussed was with the International Trailer #2; This film opens today in theaters around the country so check out the Official Poster, premise, casting and more before I offer up my editorial rumblings about it.

The Synopsis: After he and his wife are murdered, Marine Ray Garrison is resurrected by a secret team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally thought.
