The Scoop: Though I’m not glued to the YouTube based on my daily agenda, I am back again to share some of the highlights from the currently in progress NYCC Metaverse. * The creators of Steven Universe got together to talk about the show’s legacy and revealed some of the unaired plans they had for the series:
As a fan of the series of DC Comics superhero shows that air each and every week on The CW Entertainment network, one of the highlights is the crossover that brings these characters together for a unified cause. Some of the highlight crossovers for me was the “Crisis On Earth X” one and of course last year’s “Elseworlds” and now its time for the seeds that were planted in them to manifest in “Crisis On Infinite Earths”. The extended trailer was just revealed and the adventures begin this coming Sunday, December 8th. Take a look.
About The Crossover: “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is the upcoming sixth annual Arrowverse crossover event, featuring episodes of the live-action television series Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow on The CW. The Supergirl, Batwoman, and The Flash episodes will air in December 2019, while the Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow episodes will air in January 2020. Additionally, events in the Black Lightning episode “The Book of Resistance: Chapter Four: Earth Crisis”, airing between Batwoman and The Flash, will also tie-in to the crossover. A two-issue comic will also tie into the crossover, featuring characters and concepts not able to appear in the live-action episodes.
Back in May of 2011, The CW Network aired the final episode of “Smallville”, the television series that followed the adventures of a young Clark Kent during the years before he became Superman. Now just under a year after the ending of the show, the characters and its world continue on anew in a brand new comic book titled “Smallville Season 11”. Check out the cover.
They say that all good things eventually must come to an end and such is the case with The CW networks Superman pre-history series “Smallville”. Tonight begins the 10th and Final Season of the show that stars Tom Welling as a pre-Superman Clark Kent.
Hey Tom Welling fans, its that time of year again as The CW Network brings you back to the early days of Clark Kent during the years before he became Superman with “Smallville” which begins its ninth season this evening.
