Behemoth Returns With “Blasfemia Amerika Tour 2016”

Logo - Behemoth

Considering how long they’ve been around, I’m hoping that you’ve been able to catch a show by the mighty Behemoth at least once or more because if you are a Metal fan and have not yet done so you are cheating yourself out of one of the most brutalizing events that can be witnessed on the stage today. Their music is throttling and their presentation is nothing less than intensity times ten and if you are still among the unschooled in this Metal education, then the recent announcement about the bands return to America with supporting act Myrkur should set your plans in motion. Take a look at the poster, the press release and the tour dates below and then I’ll return.

Tour - Behemoth - 2016

The Press Release:
Polish death/black metal outfit, BEHEMOTH, has announced their return to North America this Spring with a special tour, featuring support from Myrkur. With plans to play their latest album, The Satanist, in its entirety, the journey – which runs from April 21st through May 7th – is one not to be missed! A limited number of premium ticketing packages which include a commemorative laminate, meet & greet session with the band, an 18″ x 24″ poster set (three posters), 42″ x 42″ wall flag, and general admission ticket are available now at showstubs.com/behemoth. Only fifty fans per show can purchase the package, so reserve yours now! In addition to the concert, fans will also have the chance to view “The Congregation” exhibition at each venue. Dubbed, “a symbiosis of BEHEMOTH and Toxic Vision,” the display showcases the collaboration between the two parties. Over the years, the artist behind Toxic Vision (Sharon Toxic) has worked closely with the band to create their stage outfits, music videos, stage/photo props and more. “The Congregation” is a new experience and built solely for this tour.

Toxic Vision Presents “Girls, Girls, Girls” (8/24/2012)

Interestingly enough, the last time that I saw designer Sharon Toxic showcasing her fantastic fashions was at one of the other “Big City Rebels” events that was put together by Samuel Valentine. As memory serves me this was also the event that I first caught the band Naked from Finland at along with the Vains Of Jenna (who are sadly no longer a group). I took the fashion show out of the concert review coverage and delivered it in a blog posting of its own since I felt it allowed for a little more special focus and you can revisit that posting HERE if you like.

Tonight the presentation would not be done as an actual runway kind of show which we saw being the case the last time around and instead Sharon would have a bevy of absolutely beautiful girls walking around the club in her latest wares. The core of the designs seemed to be a kind of jumpsuit with a vast and varied amount of new and classic Hard Rock and Metal bands. I loved it since there were quite a few surprises in the groups used for the designs which you will see for yourself in a few seconds.  The alluring happening was taking place at The Studio at Webster Hall.  As you readers know we have been here quite a bit this past year and this is not going to end anytime soon.
