Playmates Reveals “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” SDCC Exclusive Figures

If you’re heading to the Comic Con International: San Diego next week AND are a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, then you are going to want to be on the lookout for this exclusive set that will be making an appearance care of the fine folks at Playmates Toys. Check out the skinny below.

Playmates Toys, the longtime master toy licensee for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, will offer four San Diego Comic-Con exclusive figures that are based on Nickelodeon’s brand-new animated series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Each figure will retail for $30 and will be available from Thursday to Sunday (July 19-22) at Nickelodeon’s booth, #4113.

Zenescope Entertainment Announces Plans for San Diego Comic Con

Leading independent comic book and graphic novel publisher, Zenescope Entertainment, has announced its plans for Comic-Con International: San Diego 2018 as the company celebrates its 10th year exhibiting at the largest comic book convention in North America.

Zenescope returns once again to Comic-Con International at booth 2301 located immediately inside Hall C. It’s there the company will unveil a variety of over 15 different convention exclusive covers as well as limited edition collectible merchandise that includes metal prints, trading cards, puzzles, gallery edition comic books, and much more. Appearing and signing at the booth will be Zenescope writers/creators Joe Brusha (Grimm Fairy Tales, The Black Sable), Ralph Tedesco (Grimm Tales of Terror, Van Helsing Vs Robyn Hood), LaToya Morgan (Robyn Hood: The Hunt, Goddess Inc.), Dave Franchini (Belle: Beast Hunter), and Victoria Rau (Peek-A-Boo). And on Saturday July 21st the company will also be celebrating “Christmas in July” where it will be releasing special edition holiday ornaments with artwork by superstar artist, J Scott Campbell.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Whew this looks cool so who’s bringing me back one from SDCC since we cannot be there? Anyway, I love the idea of this being a “0” edition because that only means to me that we shall see similar exclusives hitting conventions that all are based on the movie properties as opposed to the comic book lines. PiercingMetal Thoughts: With the holiday just having passed us, I will only say this – “I have a lot to catch up to” and with that let’s close up by saying how awesome this new Voltron set is. Sure its a tad pricey but its five different components and they all look to be rather sturdy and its big. You get what you pay for my friends and you sure don’t want to miss out on this one if you are attending the convention. We don’t get to SDCC which is a shame but we do NYCC so yeah.
