saturn awards logo

Back in July, I shared the nominees for the 45th Annual Saturn Awards and you actually don’t need to refer to that post since I’ve decided to not only list the winning names with this kind of narrative but also those who each honoree went head to head against. I think that it makes this kind of post a little more interesting and since this is a lengthy read, I will get right on down to business. Take a look at who won and who didn’t and know that I shall return at the close with some additional editorial viewpoints. Remember that this is an event curated by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. Enjoy.

When I shared the nominations for the 40th Annual Saturn Awards, I shared a bit of a background that I snagged from their Wikipedia entry. That said “The Saturn Awards are American awards presented annually by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films. The awards were created to honor science fiction, fantasy, and horror in film, but have since grown to reward other films belonging to genre fiction, as well as television and home media releases. The Saturn Awards were created in 1973 and were originally referred to as Golden Scrolls”.

As I lined out last year when I began to include this rundown into our content base, the goal was to expand the level of Pop Culture Entertainment features. Based on the films and television shows that they honor its the perfect addition so here we go again. With all the formalities out of the way here are your winners for the 40th Annual Saturn Awards. Remember that I had noted that some of the categories had changed since the post we did in 2013. See you again when its all over.

The Saturn Awards were created in 1973 and were originally referred to as Golden Scrolls”.
