As most readers know, we do a lot of trailer posts here on PiercingMetal these days in the effort to amplify the enjoyment of our Pop Culture section and when it comes to comic book properties coming to big or small screen you just know I’m going to share it. Now I didn’t know too much about this comic book series by Jonathan Maberry but it sure did sound interesting. Here is the first trailer for “V Wars”. Check that out along with some premise and casting.

The Synopsis:
V Wars follows the story of the physician/scientist Dr. Luther Swann, and his best friend Michael Fayne, as they face the evolving crisis of a deadly outbreak that fractures society into opposing factions, potentially escalating to a future war between humans and vampires. The outbreak is caused by an ancient biological infectious agent, a prion, that turns humans into vampires, released from ice by climate change. In the conflict, the vampire faction, called Blood, is opposed by the elements of the government, such as Calix Niklos who plots with anti Blood senator Smythe (Atherton). (c/o Wiki)
