Hello again my friends I am back once more and likely the last time for this particular topic of the Sumerian Films “Paradise City” series which will be available to stream at the moment this post goes live if I am not mistaken in how Amazon Prime premieres its series and films. It was only a few days ago when I posted the Final Trailer (click text to launch that) and now its time to share the Official Poster, premise and casting once more. Take a look.

Back in December, I shared the Official Trailer for the really soon to arrive new series from Sumerian Films called “Paradise City”. Named after the hot Guns N Roses track, the series continues the story that began in the film “American Satan”. If you didn’t see that trailer post just click HERE to rectify it and then check out the latest clip before the series premiere on 3/25. I’ve even added some new art and the premise/casting for good measure. Enjoy.

AMC’s “The Walking Dead” will return in the coming weeks with the second half of the 10th season. Then around October, the 11th and final season will begin but we still have time for that. Now it’s time to enjoy a trailer for the mid-season episodes and as you will see some new menaces are to be contended with. Down below I’ve added the premise and a 10th first half recap. There will be spoilers there but the pandemic should have given you plenty of time to be up to speed lets go.

The Premise: The Walking Dead takes place after the onset of a worldwide zombie apocalypse. The zombies, colloquially referred to as “walkers”, shamble towards living humans and other creatures to eat them; they are attracted to noise, such as gunshots, and to different scents, e.g. humans. Although it initially seems that only humans that are bitten or scratched by walkers can turn into other walkers, it is revealed early in the series that all living humans carry the pathogen responsible for the mutation. The mutation is activated after the death of the pathogen’s host, and the only way to permanently kill a walker is to damage its brain or destroy the body, such as by cremating it.

Tonight: “The Walking Dead” on AMC (10/4/2020)

Since I hit the nail on the proverbial head, I will repeat part of what I said in the Extended Opening post from a few weeks ago. As fans of the series “The Walking Dead” know, the final episode for the season was supposed to air this past April, but as you also know the world became a very different place in the beginning of March and many shows and films were put on hold for the duration. Tonight, we see the final outcome against The Whisperers and since I don’t have a Season 10 recap to share with you I will just leave the one from Season 9. It’s my hope that you were tuning in before the pandemic took over the news along with the politics as it was a brutally thrilling bunch of episodes.

Season 9 Recap: Eighteen months after Negan’s downfall, Rick proposes building a bridge to ease trading, but this leads to more resentment. Rick is seemingly killed when he destroys the bridge to prevent an invasion of walkers. Six years later, his absence triggers discourse between the communities, and a new walker-controlling threat named the Whisperers demand the survivors do not trespass their territory. Their leader, Alpha, has acquired a large horde of walkers that she will unleash if they do so. After her daughter Lydia abandons her mother’s group for the Kingdom’s, Alpha disowns her and massacres many residents during a fair.
