Marvel Reveals “Shang-Chi” First Issue Artist Variants

Back in March, we helped share the news about the upcoming “Shang-Chi” mini-series which was set for June. Then the pandemic happened and that series was delayed like so many other things. The original story I mention can be examined HERE for the interested. With the mini-series hitting the racks now in September, Marvel Comics has begun to release a series of Artist Variant covers for the first issue. I’ll start us off with the standard edition cover and then be editing this post as new reveals are made available to the press. Enjoy the ride.

Marvel Reveals “Thor” #1 Artist Variant Covers

Last month we shared the news about the upcoming “Thor” series from Marvel Comics and if you missed that announcement just click HERE to be up to speed. Now we’ve begun to get the variant covers that were done by some of the industries best creatives. As you might expect, I will be continually adding to this original narrative as each cover gets revealed instead of posting a brand-new single post. This worked out well for the recent Artist Variants for “X-Men” #1 and “Fantastic Four” #1 so why change a working process. I’ll begin with the main cover of the series that will launch in January 2020. Let’s take a look shall we.

Marvel Reveals Variant Covers For “Marvel Comics” #1000

Last year, both “Action Comics” and “Detective Comics” from DC Comics reached their milestone 1000th issue and to celebrate them had a wealth of variant covers for fans to scramble to collect. Clicking the highlighted text will bring those articles up in case you’re still hunting for a particular variant. Now its Marvel’s turn to celebrate as their milestone “Marvel Comics” #1000 will soon hit the stands and they’ve unveiled a crop of variant covers for the issue. As new reveals come to light I will add them into this same post, let’s go.

Marvel Announces “Avengers: Loki Unleashed” One-Shot For September

One of the things I like collecting the most is definitely the one-shots because the idea of a self-contained story that generally completes or leads me into something new is of great appeal to me. When you add a creative team like Roger Stern & Ron Lim for this upcoming issue “AVENGERS: LOKI UNLEASHED!” then it sound like a winner.

As previously reported, Marvel Comics big crossover “The War Of The Realms” is coming and you’re going to want to be up to speed on all of the announcements that have come before this one which you can do by clicking HERE.
