PiercingMetal Thoughts: Hopefully this bit of revealed dates are just the first ones announced and that some additional ones are coming because there are several placed that Roger can set up a gig at that will surely sell out. I love The Who and have seen them only a few times in concert and Roger Daltrey we only caught once and didn’t see the full show either which was horrible for me being such a fan of their work. I love the “Tommy” album and I guess we can expect additional catalog numbers being delivered. That’s all I have for now so let me ask you what you think about this one? Chime in down below.

With that being said I am happy to report that a new press release arrived a little while ago citing the singer’s good health and a rescheduling of all of the postponed dates. Check out the information from their press team.

The Press Release:
THE WHO today confirmed that they are postponing all remaining dates on their “THE WHO HITS 50!” North American tour. They had initially postponed FOUR shows on doctor’s orders after Roger Daltrey contracted a mystery virus. Initially it was hoped that the rest of the tour might proceed, but after extensive tests the seriousness of his condition became apparent when doctors diagnosed Roger as having viral Meningitis and prescribed a period of rest. The band apologizes to fans and realizes that the postponement will cause an inconvenience for ticketholders. It wasn’t a decision taken lightly — THE WHO always give their fans 100% and were never going to compromise the show, but ultimately the band had no alternative but to postpone the tour.
