The Who Announce “Moving On!” US Dates For Spring 2020

tour posters, the who, the who tour posters

It looks like The Who will be returning to the US in the Spring of 2020 with three dates that were originally scheduled for the fall but had been postponed when Roger Daltrey fell ill. Fortunately, the singer is now on the mend and they are bringing their “Moving On!” tour back to the United States. Hopefully the three reschedulings will lead to additional shows being done on this side of the pond.

The Tour Dates:
4/27: American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX
4/30: Toyota Center in Houston, TX
5/2: Pepsi Center in Denver, CO

As with the shows that took place before Rogers illness, these gigs will feature both Pete Townsend and himself where they will bejoined by their touring bad and an orchestra made up of localized talent. As expected, any of the tickets for the original performances will be honored at these shows. Were you one of the holders of the original tickets? Hopefully you can make one of these shows.

The Touring Band: Simon Townshend (rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, backing vocals), Loren Gold (piano, keyboards, jaw harp, backing vocals), Jon Button (bass guitar, backing vocals), Zak Starkey (drums, percussion), Billy Nicholls (backing vocals, tambourine), Katie Jacoby (violin)

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As this is just an alert about a rescheduling I won’t add too much more to the mix. I do hope they expand the dates so I can get to check them out. I’ve only ever seen The Who about four times in my life and I’ve never done so for the purposes of reporting to the masses with the website. See you next time.

*** end of transmission ***

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Hopefully this bit of revealed dates are just the first ones announced and that some additional ones are coming because there are several placed that Roger can set up a gig at that will surely sell out. I love The Who and have seen them only a few times in concert and Roger Daltrey we only caught once and didn’t see the full show either which was horrible for me being such a fan of their work. I love the “Tommy” album and I guess we can expect additional catalog numbers being delivered. That’s all I have for now so let me ask you what you think about this one? Chime in down below.
