The Press Release:
OZZY OSBOURNE’s 2020 North American “NO MORE TOURS 2” has unfortunately been cancelled to allow OSBOURNE to continue to recover from various health issues he has faced over the past year. This decision was made to accommodate fans who’ve been holding tickets for rescheduled shows and have been asked to change plans, some multiple times. Following promotional obligations for his new ORDINARY MAN album (out February 21), OSBOURNE will head to Europe for additional treatments.

“I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I’ve had a shit year,” OSBOURNE said. “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: All I can add to this is that I’m glad to find Ozzy on the mend and ready to kick some ass once again. I guess we should stay tuned for announcements about a return to the US for “final” dates. One can only hope that Judas Priest is brought along for those as well since that would be an awesome treat for the fans on this side of the pond. Chime in down below with your thoughts. See you next time.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Now I’ve only seen some YouTube.com videos of ZS and those show that the act is a tight effort all around. I expected as much since Zakk played with Ozzy for so long and is well versed in the legendary material. I’m glad that a show at our own regional Gramercy Theatre will be happening since I’d like to catch this for sure. What do you readers think of this brief outing? Are you big fans of Zakk and his Sabbath renditions or will you forever pine that the legendary band has moved into a well-deserved retirement. Let me know in the comments section below. Oh yeah and fans of the Fast Food Metal variety might want to catch “Mac Sabbath” who will be playing the region in March if memory serves me correctly.

Getting “Wretched & Divine” with The Black Veil Brides (12/12/2012)

Logo - Black Veil Brides

I’ve been enjoying watching the steady climb to the stratosphere that the Black Veil Brides have been on for the last couple of years. While I was initially a latecomer to their debut when it first came out on StandBy Records, I became a quick and supportive study as they began making more regular appearances in my neck of the woods. I’ve since seen them in concert three times and have enjoyed every gig so that made it exciting to be one of the members of attending press at the advance listen to their latest release “Wretched And Divine” which would be held at the offices of Universal Music in Manhattan. You can read more about the experience by clicking the bands logo below, but then come back here for some side opinion and thoughts.
