The Press Release:
Alien themed tech-death masters, RINGS OF SATURN, announced their 24-date U.S headlining trek entitled The Dank Meme tour. Kicking off on March 2nd at Club Redd, the tour will make stops in Anaheim, New York, and Atlanta before it concludes on March 30th at the Gas Monkey Bar ‘N Grill in Dallas. Joining the band on stage are purveyors of Goblin Metal NEKROGOBLIKON, Colorado tech-metallers ALLEGAEON and California quartet ENTHEOS.

RINGS OF SATURN comments, “We can’t wait to head out on The Dank Meme Tour so we can bring more of the Ultu Ulla album to our fans live. With support from Nekrogoblikon, Allegaeon and Entheos this tour is gonna be sick.”

ALLEGAEON vocalist Riley McShane comments: “Hi, friends! Very excited to announce that we are joining our friends in Rings of Saturn, Nekrogoblikon, and Entheos, for another US tour in March. We can’t wait to see all your faces, send us memes to harass each other with until we finish touring and hit the studio later this year for album number 5! If you’re at a show, you’ll hear a new song: Extremophile(b): Evolution.”

PiercingMetal Thoughts: What!!! No NYC dates!!! How. Dare. You! I’m sorry, I am getting off tangent here but it’s a bit of a bummer that this package isn’t paying our Big Apple a visit since I know a lot of the fans will be eager to witness this on stage and might not get to some of the other regional spots. I’ve seen Whitechapel a few times over the years and they never disappoint. Carnifiex is also an unleashed ferocious beast on the live stage and I haven’t caught them enough over the years. You just cannot always fit stuff in no matter how hard you try. Sadly, I haven’t managed to catch Rings Of Saturn, Entheos and So This Is Suffering yet and with the show not hitting my immediate region it looks like it will be a little longer for me to do so. So what about you readers though. Will you be hitting one of these shows and what do you think about it as a tour on the whole. Chime in down in the comments section below. Happy early Anniversary Whitechapel. You’ve done some good for Metal over the years and its nice to see you working as hard as ever.
