Green Day Announces 2017 “Revolution Radio” North American Tour

The band Green Day just rocked the halls of Webster with a gig in NYC while the insanity of the NY Comic Con was in full sway. I wanted to hit that show but for me when the Con is happening there is little else that I can pay any attention to but I digress. I’ll have my chance to catch the band on their full scale tour based on the announcement below. Check out the official Press Release and the dates, then I’ll come back with some added information.

October 10th, 2016 – (Los Angeles, CA) – Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day have announced their 2017 Revolution Radio North American Tour. The band is touring in support of their new album Revolution Radio, which was released Friday, October 7th by Reprise Records. Against Me! will provide support for all dates. Presale tickets will be available to Idiot Nation members on Wednesday, October 12th at 9:00 AM local venue time. For more info on the presale, visit www.gdidiotnation.com. The Revolution Radio Tour kicks off on March 1st, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ and will crisscross its way across North America. See below for confirmed dates.

Green Day Forced To Postpone First Four Dates On Upcoming Tour – Ugh

Just got a quick brief about the boys in Green Day being ill and since I know so many of you were excited about this tour I wanted to get the official statement to your attention as quick as possible. Check it out.

The Statement:
LOS ANGELES, CA – SEPTEMBER 18, 2016 – Green Day regretfully must postpone three of the first four dates of their upcoming tour and must cancel the Toronto appearance, all due to illness affecting several members of the band and its crew. The postponed dates are: St. Louis, MO on 9/20, Chicago, IL on 9/21; and Detroit, MI on 9/24. The show in Toronto, ONT on 9/23, where they were due to appear at the World Cup of Hockey Fan Village will be canceled. Schedule permitting, Green Day will make up all dates but Toronto, and tickets will be honored at the new dates. Fans who would like to obtain a refund can do so from their original point of purchase. Stay tuned to the bands official website.

Green Day Announce Club and Arena Tour in Support of “Revolution Radio”

I’m still reeling fro”m the intergalactic adventures that I took this past weekend at the “Star Trek: Mission New York” convention but now that I am again Earthbound it’s time to get back to business and discuss what is going on in this sector of space. This latest concert announcement comes care of the band Green Day who are embarking on a club and arena tour towards the end of the month. Check it out.

September 6th, 2016 – (Los Angeles, CA) – Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day will hit the road for a series of intimate club shows in the U.S. and Canada in support of their upcoming 12th studio album, Revolution Radio, which will be released by Reprise Records on October 7th. The North American dates kick off on September 20th in St. Louis, MO and conclude with a show on October 20th in Berkeley, CA.
