Godsmack And Shinedown Announce Co-Headlining Summer 2018

Since it’s lunchtime, let’s send you all out for a nice breather with another tour announcement. This one lines out the co-headlining run being plotted by Godsmack and Shinedown and their special guests Like A Storm and Red Sun Rising.

The Press Release:
This summer, rock fans across the country should prepare to be rocked hard when the GODSMACK/SHINEDOWN co-headlining summer tour hits more than 30 cities. Produced by Live Nation, the six-week outdoor amphitheater tour kicks off July 22 and make stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, New York and many more before wrapping September 2. These dates come as both multi-platinum groups are set to release new albums: Godsmack’s WHEN LEGENDS RISE (April 27 via BMG) and Shinedown’s ATTENTION ATTENTION (May 4 via Atlantic Records). Tickets are available to the general public starting Friday, March 23 at LiveNation.com. Select dates of the summer tour will also be part of the popular Live Nation Ticket to Rock program. The Ticket to Rock bundle offers fans a low-cost way to see many of their favorite rock artists live in their area all summer long.

“We really believe this could be a great moment in our band’s career and we plan on running on the road until at least fall of 2019,” Sully Erna of Godsmack says. “We love the guys in Shinedown and we all go way back. There is a very strong mutual respect between our camps and we feel that this tour is going to be a must see!” Adds the singer, songwriter and guitarist: “We’re preparing ourselves to be on the top of our game!”

“It’s all about impact, and making a statement,” says Brent Smith, Shinedown’s lead singer. “We are creating a show for the fans that is powerful, passionate, and sonically inspiring. The audience has given us a platform to be ourselves, and create something spectacular. That being said SHINEDOWN, and GODSMACK will most certainly NOT let them down. This will be the Rock & Roll event of the year. In other words “IT’S ABOUT TO GET HEAVY!!!”

Drowning Pool Announces “Not-So-Silent Night” U.S. Headline Tour

This one came a few days ago but since I had so many other items queued up to run – it had to take a number. Sorry that is going to happen at times but with touring stuff it’s still valid information worth sharing. Check out the latest touring plans from Drowning Pool and their “Not So Silent Night” Tour. I love that title. Very clever and here we go.

Multi-platinum hard rock band DROWNING POOL are pleased to announce their upcoming U.S. headline tour – dubbed the “Not-So-Silent Night” tour – which will visit several eastern and central U.S. cities during the 2016 holiday season. DROWNING POOL will be joined by special guests Gemini Syndrome, 9Electric and Red Tide Rising. The tour kicks off on November 29 in Colorado Springs, CO and will come to a close just before Christmas with a Toys For Tots homecoming show at Trees in Dallas, TX.

HardDrive Live Announces 2016 Tour w Sick Puppies and More

In my never-ending quest to keep you concert going mavens informed I was happy to see this press release hit the Metal Media Desk here at the PiercingMetal Command HQ. Yes my friends the HardDrive Live tour is back for 2016 and is bringing out a batch of interesting artists. This press copy is rather thorough and gives some keen insight into the numerous performers so I’ve embedded it all for you below the poster. After the run of dates I’ll return with some notes.

Tour - Sick Puppies - Hard Drive Live - 2016

(March 01, 2016) – The 2016 HardDrive Live Tour is set to hit the road next month with SICK PUPPIES, RED SUN RISING, STITCHED UP HEART, HUDSON and SMASHING SATELLITES confirmed for the upcoming month long trek. The tour is scheduled to kick off in Houston, TX on April 22 and will run through May 21st where it will wrap up in St Louis, Missouri. The 2016 HardDrive Live Tour is produced in conjunction with Ledge Entertainment. Tickets, as well as VIP packages for Sick Puppies, will be available on Friday, March 04 at 10 A.M. via www.ticketmaster.com.

Since bursting into the rock scene, headliners Sick Puppies have sold over 1 million records, including a Gold album certification for their breakout second full-length Tri-Polar which yielded 2 million in single sales including the gold-certified ―You’re Going Down‖ as well as rock smashes ―Maybe‖, ―Riptide‖ and ―Odd One.‖ Sick Puppies fourth album is due to be released this spring and features the single, ―Stick To Your Guns‖.

All That Remains & We Came As Romans Unite For 2015 HardDrive Live “Fallout” Tour

Just received this bit of news and wanted to get it right out to you readers so the planning can get started. It seems as though the always throttling All That Remains will join forces with We Came As Romans and Emmure for the 2015 HardDrive Live Fallout Tour in the coming months. As usual, the press release will follow the poster and then we can discuss it a little more. Get reading.

Tour - All That Remains - HardDrive Live 2015

The Press Releases:
(New York, NY) – We Came As Romans and All That Remains will co-headline the HardDrive Live Fallout Tour this Fall. The tour kicks off on October 14th in Grand Rapids, MI and will run through November 7th (Dates below with more shows to be announced soon). Emmure will be direct support for the entire tour. Red Sun Rising will open from October 14th through October 16th and October 19th through October 28th. Failure Anthem will open from November 2nd through November 7th. Tickets will be available Friday August 28th at 10:00 AM local time on the website at the close of this posting.

We Came As Romans vocalist Dave Stephens comments, “We’ve known ATR for almost as long as we’ve been a band and we’re ecstatic we’ve finally got a chance to tour together. It’s an idea we’ve always talked about so we figured why not finally make it happen. It’s a true blessing to be on tour with these bands and be a part of the HardDrive Live Fallout Tour.”

All That Remains lead vocalist Phil Labonte adds, “ATR is excited to announce we’ll hitting the road with We Came As Romans and working with HardDrive again this fall.
