“No Time To Die” is the 25th installment in the continuing adventures of the man with the license to kill, James Bond, Agent 007. Daniel Craig remains in the role and this is his own fifth go at the legendary character that was created by Ian Fleming. The first Official Trailer has been released so let’s take a look shall we.

Last night, the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards were given out for excellence in film and television. I shared the complete winners list over on “The Chronicles” of Piercing Ken which you can explore HERE when the time permits but right now I am here to help celebrate and raise my fist in the air to two of the big wins across the program and the film “Bohemian Rhapsody” which we have discussed at some length over the last few months here on the website.
The first celebration goes to actor Rami Malek who won “Best Actor In A Drama”. Malek as you might have surmised portrayed the late great Freddie Mercury and I had to admit I thought that he was terrific in the role. I never saw Queen in concert and only have the numerous videos from MTV and concert footage from Eagle Rock Entertainment to show me what it was like and I must say that Malek seemed pretty spot on. Congratulations Rami.
By now you’ve seen all of the commercials for the film and maybe some of you were lucky enough to be a part of the advance screenings in NYC earlier in the week but if not, today is the day that “Bohemian Rhapsody” opens up in theaters everywhere. Let’s take a look at the Official Theatrical Poster along with some premise and casting. If you missed the Final Trailer for the film, please click HERE to check that out as I’ve also included some of the other posters that accompany the promotion of the release.
Synopsis: Described as a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day. With the film opening up in just about a week, I was very surprised to find them waiting to release the Final Trailer at this time. Usually we have a few weeks of lead in to absorb it and find the clip making the rounds on television and on websites such as this one but here we are. If you’ve been under a rock for the last few months, “Bohemian Rhapsody” is a film about the Rock Legends Queen and the late, great Freddie Mercury. I’m following the clip with the premise and casting for good measure and I’ll toss some closing thoughts in as well. Let’s take a look.
