The fine folks over at Live Nation have just announced a massive Emo-themed festival that will take place in October in Las Vegas. It also features more bands than you can shake a stick at but why would you do that to some talented musicians anyway. Here is their brief press copy along with the poster. Earlier today the nominees for the 2021 Grammy Awards were announced and I always like to dissect that lengthy summary to spotlight what has been nominated for the music that we are more in tune with here on the PiercingMetal website. That means I am taking the Rock, Metal and Alternative out of the pile and putting it on the side for your edification. Deftones Announce Summer Headlining Tour

This will be Poppy’s first appearance at Anime NYC. Poppy has a legion of followers online and is one of the most talked-about musical artists across the globe. She will appear at Anime NYC to speak about her Japanese influences and manga-inspired graphic novel, Genesis 1.
