Though I cannot say I am all that up on their sound, a lot of my friends are among the diehards and that means you talk about big tour appearances or announcements so here we go. Phish has recently announced the skinny on this years New Year’s Eve shows at the famed Madison Square Garden. Dig in.

Phish returns to New York at the end of the year to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a four night run at Madison Square Garden, beginning Wednesday, December 28th through Saturday, December 31st. The four shows will bring the band’s total performances at the world famous arena to 39 in the years since their MSG debut in December 1994. As with Phish’s two prior MSG runs, all floor tickets will be general admission.
An online ticket request period is now underway at http://tickets.phish.com, ending Monday, October 10th at 12 noon ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, October 14th at 12 noon ET online at http://www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 866-858-0008. Any remaining tickets may be purchased at the Madison Square Garden box office beginning Saturday, October 15th (Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm).

Though I realize this is not the most Metal of concert happenings, there is no doubt in my own and many worldwide music fans minds that Phish is an incredibly talented and entertaining band. As a matter of fact I know a ton of Metal Legions that travel far and wide to catch them on tour and with that being said, the group just announced their summer tourdates and I wanted to get them to you as fast as possible. The dates are here! Phish’s 2016 Summer Tour begins on June 22 with the band’s first concert in the Twin Cities since 2000, and culminates with its sixth year of summer-ending shows in September at Dick’s Sporting Good Park in Commerce City, CO. The tour will include the band’s first appearances at Chicago’s storied Wrigley Field, as well as returns to Saratoga Performing Arts Center, The Mann, and The Gorge Amphitheater. An online ticket request period is currently underway at http://tickets.phish.com and will end Sunday, February 21st at 11:59pm ET. Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning Thursday, February 25th. Ticketing details are available at their official website (linked below).
