About The Film: “The Beatles: Get Back” is an upcoming documentary film directed by Peter Jackson that covers the making of the Beatles’ 1970 album “Let It Be”, which had the working title of “Get Back”. The film draws from material originally captured for director Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s 1970 documentary of the album. “The Beatles: Get Back” endeavours to recut Lindsay-Hogg’s film to show the friendly camaraderie that still existed between the Beatles, as well as to challenge longtime assertions that the project was entirely marked by ill-feeling. The film opens today in theaters everywhere and comes care of Universal Pictures and the mind of Peter Jackson (you might remember him from “King Kong”, “Lord Of The Rings” and “The Hobbit” films). Take a look at the Official Theatrical poster, the premise and casting. I’ll close out with additional editorial as I usually do.

The Premise: Tom is a twenty-something Londoner who has only ever lived inside his travelling hometown, and his feet have never touched grass, mud or land. His first taste of the outside comes quite abruptly: Tom gets in the way of the masked Hester’s attempt to kill Thaddeus Valentine, a powerful man she blames for her mother’s murder, and both Hester and Tom end up thrown out of the moving “traction” city, to fend for themselves.
