Greetings my fellow Starfleet cadets, I am back once more to discuss the soon to be premiering series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”. Some of you might recall that this topic was touched upon back in March with the Teaser Trailer clip (seen HERE if you missed it) and now its time to check out the Official Trailer. The Premise: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the starship USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) in the 23rd century as they explore new worlds throughout the galaxy in the decade before Star Trek: The Original Series. It has a contemporary take on that series’ episodic storytelling and 1960s designs, and features the following narration from Mount during each episode’s opening credits (similarly to the opening narrations in The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation):

Clearly Paramount+ is as dedicated to the “Star Trek” properties as Disney+ is to “Star Wars” and premiering shortly after the close of the second season of “Star Trek: Picard”, we will get “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”.
