Ghost Presents: Chapter Eight “Kiss The Go-Goat”

ghost logo

[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY] We wish to inform you Papa Nihil has been feeling particularly nostalgic as of late…Chapter 8 is available now for your viewing pleasure.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As a fan of history, I have to say that I really enjoyed this latest chapter because it gives the Flock a great look at some rare and truly vintage performance footage from times long ago when Papa Nihil was heralding the charge and the message. Dare I say that this was very “Groovy” and had lots and lots of soul (or is it souls????). You gotta also love the quasi-Beatles coif that Papa was sporting. Now the tune while approximately 50 years old has stood up across the sands of time and I am glad to find them considering a re-release for all of the newbies to their brand of sonic soul procurement. Could Papa 0 be considering a return to the stage with all of the original Nameless Ghouls? Let’s raise the interest by sharing this clip and rallying behind them by posting to social networks and speaking about it to the hapless passerby on the street. The Clergy summons, and I’d suggest you comply. Until next time.

Ghost Presents: Chapter Seven “New World Redro”

[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY] We wish to inform you all work and no play makes Papa…

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I love these clips and to summarize and analyze what we saw here, it seems like the Cardinal is taxing the last good nerve of Papa Nihil. Could a change in the ranks be far from happening? All we can do is wait with anticipation on the next chapter and see what will come to pass. Redro is “order” spelled backwards, so could a reverse of the snap set things right once more in the world of Ghost. Oh, my bad that’s a different franchise entirely but I think you get my meaning. Only time will tell. The Flock is waiting….

Ghost Presents: Chapter Six: “The Visit”

Message From The Clergy: We wish to inform you the story continues. Chapter 6 is available for viewing…

PiercingMetal Thoughts: It looks like Sister Imperator will soon be back to work for the ministry now that she is all healed up after her accident which is a good thing indeed. During her absence, the band Ghost has been keeping busy and just recently completed their “A Pale Tour Named Death” run of dates. Sadly, I myself missed it (not for lack of trying to be a part of the madness) but fortunately our own Kat Electric was in attendance and documented an in-depth show report so I could be there in my mind. That summary was posted HERE in case you missed it. With The Cardinal and Papa 0 set to take care of her for the time being, one can only imagine the kind of madness that will ensure across future chapters. Speaking frankly, I hope that there is still a chance to catch the Cardinal in concert before another Papa manifests because I’ve never witnessed his glorious Metal mass yet and would hate to have missed out completely. What do you readers think is coming next? Chime in down below.

PiercingMetal’s “Best Of” 2018: Top Nine On Instagram

Well how about that my friends, it appears as though we’ve once again arrived at the time where the Instagram “Top Nine” images are tabulated and that means you get to enjoy them as well. Over the course of 2018, I really was enjoying the use of Instagram as a social networking tool and I’m fairly certain that I used it a lot more than any of the other socials combined. The rundown will come after the image below so please take a gander. I figured that I’d offer up some background on them all.

About These Visuals: Starting from the top left hand corner we’ve got the band Paramore which is fronted by Hayley Williams and right next to that is the ominious Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and his own parmour Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy. A lot of you longer terms website readers will likely remember Alissa from The Agonist. Closing up the first row is Black Veil Brides singer Andy Black who was showing off a brand new comic graphic novel at the Last Rites Gallery. I’m not sure why they decided to cut off artist Eryk Donovan but that is the app for you. Sorry Eryk. The second row was from a great SiriusXM Town Hall with the legendary Judas Priest and that is the lads and myself post their interview at the station. It’s always great to say hello to The Priest and of course to support their live shows. The Brits are followed next by two images of the lovely and talented Riki “Riddle” Lecotey who is a cosplayer of some reknown. They were taken from The BoroughCon event and we just love her amazing designs. Our last row is the also legendary Glenn Hughes who was delivering a solo tour that celebrated his Deep Purple years. This row is completed by a visual from the Ghost Press Conference that was held by Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator and the great Zakk Wylde from Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne during his special appearance at the “Fear The Riff” Expo in Brooklyn. Good times. As you can see, the collage shows that we recieved 25.8K likes for the sum total of our 6,716 posted images. Though we’ve gone up over 1K followers to 1,419 the sum-total likes dropped a chunk in comparison to last year. I think this was based on our flipping between personal and business accounts to get some standings but in the business account we saw less people coming aboard much like the Facebook Official Page. Since Facebook owns Instagram a lot of the same algorithm stuff goes on and they want you to pay for ads which I am NOT going to do.

Ghost Presents: Chapter Five: “The Call”

ghost logo

Message From The Clergy: We wish to inform you Sister Imperator is recovering nicely and has another important message.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: It’s good to see Sister not only recovering but also taking the initiative in doling out the necessary work to keep the band Ghost on the road. At the close of the last clip, we found her instructing Papa Nihil to announce the European Tour (seen HERE in case you missed it). Now we find her taking a call from not only the Papa but The Old One Himself where she asks him to announce the Stadium Tour for 2019. Yes my fiends, Ghost will be supporting the mighty Metallica during their stadium run and I think they better have their big boy pants on because the flock will not take so kindly to a shorter Ghost set for more Metallica. What do you think of the clip and this news? Chime in down below and oh yeah, how did Sister like the flowers and the chocolates? You did send them didn’t you?
