Now Streaming: Marvel Studios “Moon Knight” on Disney+ (3/30/2022)

Ardent readers of the PiercingMetal Pop Culture content already know how much we love the continued expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big and small screens and we were just here to share the Teaser Trailer for the upcoming “Ms. Marvel” series that will premiere on Disney+ in June. That’s enough about that show because now its time to get down to business with why we are all here super early in the AM. At the time of this post being published, the brand-new series “Moon Knight” is set to premiere on the Disney+ streaming service. I’ve discussed this series before which you can examine by clicking HERE and before you mention this to me in a comment…I am fully aware that a tag like this one will bring up every post with the text “moon knight” in them. Consider it more enjoyment and before you watch you might was to review the premise, poster and ensemble casting.

While Sony Pictures still holds the license for the rights to Spider-Man, I have to say that we really loved seeing Miles Morales on the animated big screen in “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” from a couple of years ago.

Warner Brothers Pictures: “Dune Official Trailer

The Premise: In the far future of humanity, Duke Leto Atreides accepts stewardship of the dangerous desert planet Arrakis, also known as Dune, the only source of the most valuable substance in the universe, “the spice”, a drug which extends human life, provides superhuman levels of thought, and makes faster-than-light travel possible. Though Leto knows the opportunity is an intricate trap set by his enemies, he takes his Bene Gesserit concubine Lady Jessica, young son and heir Paul, and most trusted advisers to Arrakis. Leto takes control of the spice mining operation, which is made perilous by the presence of giant sandworms. A bitter betrayal leads Paul and Jessica to the Fremen, natives of Arrakis who live in the deep desert.

Now In Theaters: “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” (12/20/2019)

It almost feels like forever ago when I posted the FINAL TRAILER for “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” and while it was only in October, we’ve surely had a bevy of content related to the film to share with you all. Since then there have been Featurettes, TV Spots and Promotional Posters that you can examine at your leisure by clicking HERE. Now its time for the moment that you have all been waiting for since “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” opens today in theaters everywhere. As you know this was a journey that began some forty plus years ago in 1977 with “Star Wars: A New Hope” (before it even had a Roman numeral and chapter name). Today that film opens in theaters everywhere and I’d say to check your listings but you will likely be able to find a showing at every turn especially if you live in a big metropolis like we do.
