Though it feels like a long time to wait for this one, the first teaser trailer for “The Mandalorian” Season 3 was recently released by the fine folks at Lucasfilm. This will air on the Disney+ streaming service and they are doing great with expanding the Star Wars universe. “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi” was solid and I am very much looking forward to “Star Wars: Andor” as that one will lead us into the story we watched in the stellar “Rogue One” film. While I will obviously be keeping tabs on this one, I only had some of the casting and the larger series premise to cite for the newbies. There was no new artwork at the time of this post and with that being said here is the teaser trailer for “The Mandalorian” season three.
The Premise: Beginning five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and the fall of the Galactic Empire, The Mandalorian follows Din Djarin, a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. He is hired by remnant Imperial forces to retrieve the child Grogu, but instead goes on the run to protect the infant. While looking to reunite Grogu with his kind, they are pursued by Moff Gideon, who wants to use Grogu’s connection to the Force. It was just before Halloween when we shared the Official Trailer #2 for the brand-new Star Wars series “The Mandalorian” and this series is now live on the newly launched Disney+ streaming service. Below you can find the official poster and some other coolness, and I’ll return at the close with some editorial opinion.
With the new Disney+ streaming service going online in just under two weeks, we are starting to hear more and more about deals for the early to it and before I get into the subject at hand, please take a look at this announcement that I posted over on “The Chronicles” from Verizon (click HERE). The more I hear about the upcoming Disney+ streaming service, the more I am convinced that it will be a day one subscription for me. Now the chatter has been high about the live-action Star Wars series “The Mandalorian” and it was just a short time ago that the fans attending the D23 Fan Expo got a look at the first trailer and now that its public so can we. Let’s watch.

It was only back in January that we shared the trailer for the second season of “American Gods” which airs on the Starz Network and if you missed that trailer please just click HERE to be up to date with the rest of us. This season begins tonight on the Starz network which is a premium channel from your cable provider and it will be episodic as opposed to something that you can sit and binge. Let’s take another look at the premise and casting along with the poster for the season.
The Premise: When Shadow Moon is released from prison, he enters a world he does not understand and meets the mysterious Mr. Wednesday. Left adrift by the recent death of his wife, Shadow is hired as Mr. Wednesday’s assistant/bodyguard. He finds himself in a hidden world where magic is real, where the Old Gods fear irrelevance and the growing power of the New Gods, including Technology and Media. In a grand plan to combat the threat, Mr. Wednesday attempts to unite the Old Gods to defend their existence and rebuild the influence that they have lost, leaving Shadow struggling to accept this new world and his place in it.
