By now, I’m sure that the more tenured members of the readership know about my attending the bi-annual NY NOW Gifting Show for the purposes of content on “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” and you can see some of our historical stuff by clicking the hyperlinked text. As I’ve mentioned, the show runs twice each year and I’ve just recently attended their Summer Market and was once again able to secure some cool intel for you to be up to speed on what is coming from the Quarto Books publishing company.
We love visiting the Quarto Brooks booth when wandering the NY NOW show and back during the Winter Market there was not a lot of new things to share with you. It was a few months ago when I mentioned to the readership that I am a regular media attendee at the NY NOW Gifting Show over at the Javits Center and I was recently at their Winter Showcase. The show is curated by Emerald Expositions and held twice a year and since a lot can change or be released in that time I will go to both shows. Once again I was able to find some interesting items in the publishing section and Quarto Books.
Having already pointed out how fond I am of their releases I don’t think that I need to do it again and sadly there would only be two new editions for me to speak to you about. For the last few years, I’ve been attending the massive gifting show known as NY NOW for “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” website and that’s because I usually find myself seeing the kinds of things that were more applicable to that side of the creative coin. However, since there is usually a big publishing presence at the trade show and many of those items fit better here on PiercingMetal, I’m going to share some special features with you right here based on a visit to the Quarto Books publisher booth.
It’s without question that we just love the output from Quarto Books here at the PiercingMetal High Command and their books are not only beautiful to look at and leaf through but they are massive as well. Let’s start off with “Alice Cooper @75” by Gary Graff. These cover images were secured from Amazon to have a nice clean visual.
