The Press Release:
OZZY OSBOURNE’s 2020 North American “NO MORE TOURS 2” has unfortunately been cancelled to allow OSBOURNE to continue to recover from various health issues he has faced over the past year. This decision was made to accommodate fans who’ve been holding tickets for rescheduled shows and have been asked to change plans, some multiple times. Following promotional obligations for his new ORDINARY MAN album (out February 21), OSBOURNE will head to Europe for additional treatments.
“I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I’ve had a shit year,” OSBOURNE said. “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks.
The Press Release:
When OZZY OSBOURNE relaunches his “NO MORE TOURS 2” in 2020, he’ll be joined by special guest Marilyn Manson for the North American shows.
These dates are OZZY’s first shows since he announced earlier this year that all his 2019 performances would be postponed allowing him to heal from an injury sustained while dealing with pneumonia. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter and 2019 Grammy® Special Merit Award recipient fell at his Los Angeles home and trapped his spine aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery.
The “NO MORE TOURS 2” kicks off May 27 in Atlanta and concludes July 31 in Las Vegas. Next up, OSBOURNE will head overseas in October for the rescheduled European dates; Judas Priest will remain as support on the tour as part of their “JP/50 Heavy Metal Years” anniversary tour. PiercingMetal Thoughts: All I can add to this is that I’m glad to find Ozzy on the mend and ready to kick some ass once again. I guess we should stay tuned for announcements about a return to the US for “final” dates. One can only hope that Judas Priest is brought along for those as well since that would be an awesome treat for the fans on this side of the pond. Chime in down below with your thoughts. See you next time.
Back in the beginning of April, we shared the news about Ozzy Osbourne being injured and cancelling all of his 2019 appearances (seen HERE). Well, fortunately the legendary singer has been on a proper mend and is beginning to map out the plans for 2020. Here is the first press release from his team that lines out the return to the UK and European dates.
The Press Release:
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE has just announced rescheduled shows in the UK and Europe on his “NO MORE TOURS 2” tour.
The six-week trek kicks off in OZZY’s native UK on January 31 before wrapping March 16 in Zurich, Switzerland. The tour includes stops throughout the UK–Nottingham, Dublin, Manchester, Newcastle, London (O2 Arena), Glasgow and OZZY’s Birmingham hometown–before heading to Europe for gigs in Germany, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy and Switzerland. This news follows an April announcement about OZZY’s North American dates, which will kick off in February 2020 (linked above already).
It was just the other day that I was wondering how the legendary Ozzy Osbourne was coming along after his recent need to postpone some dates on his “No More Tours 2” adventures and while sitting at a press conference for the Lucha Libre, I received the following press statement and wasted no time in sharing it with you all. Read on.
The Press Release:
OZZY OSBOURNE will postpone all his 2019 tour dates, inclusive of shows in North America and Europe, as he recovers from an injury sustained while dealing with his recent bout of pneumonia. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter and 2019 Grammy® Special Merit Award recipient fell at his Los Angeles home aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery last month. OSBOURNE will remain under doctor’s care in Los Angeles as he recovers.
