Welcome back my friends, you have safely arrived at the second chapter of my coverage of the NY Comic Con. I’m still on the Day One stuff and if you’ve missed any of the posts that preceded this one, just click on THIS LINK as it will open a battery of content for you. I’ll make sure to add this tag to every intro going forward so its easier to keep up with the fun but now let’s get right back into the mix of NYCC 2017. I’m still wandering around the area known as “The Block” and sometimes I find some interesting stuff around here. Let’s continue with the help of this horrific looking Venom. You know he has a movie coming out next year as well.

Exploring NY Comic Con 2016: Day One, Part One (10/6/2016)

Hello my friends and let me welcome you to the first chapter of PiercingMetal’s comprehensive visuals and notes from the 2016 NY Comic Con that is being held over at the Jacob Javits Center on Manhattan’s West Side. The convention began yesterday and I am happy to report that I was once again attending as a member of the media and that I took a lot of photos over the course of the first day. For those who are new to our presentations, we do the NYCC in this fashion – It’s broken up into day by day observances with a few chapters each and generally no more than “50” images in each post so the tagging is not impossible to follow. My first image was taken of the folks that were lined up outside of the Hammerstein Ballroom for one of the many panels that was going to be held there. This line went all the way down to the corner of the avenue. It blows my mind.

Hey gang, welcome back to our explorations into the NY Comic Con for 2014; This is our second chapter from the Day One stuff that I observed and as you might expect I am loving the chance to bring it all to your attention. As mentioned in the previous posting, there are a few more than fifty images this time based on my wanting to keep Day One to three chapters. Continuing along here are the photos that the beautiful Cosplayer Jessica Nigri was selling and signing for her fans.

PiercingMetal Goes To NY Comic Con 2013: Day 3 – Part 2

Hey there readers and welcome back to the continued narratives from the 2013 NY Comic Con. I’m up to chapter two from the Day Three part of the convention and since this is the Saturday part of the whole enchilada that means I have my work cut out for me. Its technically the most populated day of them all. What better way to start today’s chapter then by featuring “Devo Duck” from Toy Tokyo. We’re still in “The Block” and I’ll be chiming in when possible. I don’t think you need me to label every single cosplayer we found.

PiercingMetal Goes To NY Comic Con 2013: Day 3 – Part 1

So here were are again my fiends on the third proper day of the NY Comic Con but my own second day of the explorations since I did not manage to be a part of the very first day based on getting locked out of the Press signups and then missing the chance to purchase a full four day ticket. Ugh. The great thing about Comic Con is that everyone is permitted to carry a camera but now I had my work cut out for me in catch up and I probably missed a few things that I would have liked to see. Oh well, here we go with the snagged visuals from the Saturday session which is historically speaking the most packed and chaotic of all the days. As I walked into the Convention I was greeted by this menacing Predator Cosplay. I was not sure he was a Cosplay in all honesty.

Once I was safely inside I got my gear together and felt that I should hit “The Block” section again because there are so many different things in there to observe.
