The organizing powers that be for the famed New York Comic Con have issued a Health & Safety update regarding this year’s event. While you aren’t required to show proof of vaccination like you did in 2021, you WILL need to wear a protective face covering. Check out the full statement regarding the news down below.

Our team has come to a decision regarding our Health & Safety policy for this year. We will be requiring approved face coverings for New York Comic Con 2022 throughout all areas of the show, and we are strongly recommending the use of high-quality masks, such as a certified N95, KN95 or KN94 mask. Hey Fiends, I’ve been keeping up with the announcements coming from the site and socials for the upcoming 2022 New York Comic Con, and I am here bright and early this morning to make sure you are aware that the General Public onsale is live right now. If you’re hoping to attend you’ll want to review the Fan Verification post I ran because all of that its all things that you need to do before getting your hands on a ticket.
Hello again, so in keeping with the topic of the 2022 New York Comic Con, I’ve returned to share the importance of the Fan Verification because the General Public on sale is set for 5/22. For those in the unaware this process was started a few years ago in hopes of quelling the massive number of scalpers that manage to get their hands on the assorted badges and charge exhorbitant prices for them.
Hey my cool geeky friends, so as mentioned yesterday, the Fan Verified pre-sale for the 2022 New York Comic Con was live and apparently a complete success since all of the 4-Day VIP tickets have sold out. I am guessing this is those tickets that are a part of the exclusive Metaverse membership that they have going on and for those who have no idea what I am talking about let me refer you to a post that I ran back in 2021 that explains it all (click HERE).
