PiercingMetal Thoughts: This is super cool news because YouTube really seems to be the social network that is getting everyone the most momentum. I use it all the time for video research, enjoyment and yes even for the PiercingMetal website with our own humble little channel that you can subscribe to by clicking over to the profile HERE. I need to use that channel more going forward but hey, this is about the Nirvana clip which really doesn’t have a whole lot of way to go before hitting the 1 billion mark. It was something like a few hundred thousand short, maybe less. I’ll close up this notion now but will return when it happens for good measure. That makes for a solid “Milestone” piece in my humble opinion. See you next time.

Genre: Alternative
Rating:

A welcome addition to Eagle Vision’s “Classic Albums” series is this DVD documenting the creation of Nirvana’s 1991 Number 1 charting album “Nevermind”.

In its time “Nevermind” hit a nerve with listeners across generations that immediately and effectively filled a gap in popular music of the day. The beauty of the album is that it offered a unique soundscape that drew in teens as well as older rock fans and provided music with more “real teeth” than all the latex makeup “Thriller” zombies MTV could screen in the early 90’s.
