A few weeks have gone by since Marvel Studios had released the full on Official Trailer for “What If…?” (discussed HERE if you missed it) and now the moment has arrived and the series that reveals the happenings in all the divergent timelines begins streaming at the time we are posting this news. Hopefully you’ve watched “Loki” by now and are aware that all of the stuff we shall see here are resultant of that show’s outcome. I won’t say anything more to avoid spoiling it for the slowpokes. Take a look at the poster once again and the amazing voice cast.
So based on the calendar its been a full seven months since we got that Exclusive Look at Marvel Studios “What If…?” and if you didn’t see that narrative just click the highlighted text. Since that time we’ve gotten all three of the at the time coming soon live series and “Loki” has one more episode to air next week. Now its time to showcase the Official Trailer for the debut animated series from Disney+ and I’ve included the premise, casting and some art down below as well. Take a look.
Disney+ is not playing games when it comes to delivering the proverbial goods with the still growing streaming service which has so far really only presented “The Mandalorian” for the Star Wars geeks. Oh and before you take that as a slight, I am a lifer when it comes to Star Wars so moving right along. The debut Marvel Studios series will be “WandaVision” which will premiere in January and then it will be followed by “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” and “Loki”. Are you drooling yet? Today’s narrative is to share the Exclusive Look at the first animated series being presented by the service in “What If”. Let’s take a look. I’ve added the premise and healthy voice cast as well. Enjoy.
Hey did you miss me? You had to know that I would be coming back with a quick summary about this evenings third season premiere of “Legends Of Tomorrow” which will air immediately after tonight’s episode of “The Flash” which has its own fourth season premiere and was discussed on THIS LINK if you missed it. If there is one thing that the New York Comic Con leaves us fans with, its a bevy of shows that are right up our alley. Down below you will see the “OFFICIAL POSTER” and I’ve snagged some Season 2 refresher and casting for you before tossing in my own thoughts on the matter. Here we go.
Season 2 Recap: In season two, with the Time Masters defeated, the team are left to guard the timeline themselves, and learn to cope in Rip’s absence after he disappears. However, they are continually plagued by the Legion of Doom, a time-travelling supervillain team led by Reverse Flash (Eobard Thawne), who has recruited past versions of Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn, and Leonard Snart to help him find the Spear of Destiny of Biblical fame, with which they can rewrite their fates. The team is joined by new members Amaya Jiwe / Vixen, an African superhero from 1940s superhero team the Justice Society of America, and Nate Heywood / Steel, a modern-day historian with the power to become solid metal. Have you been keeping up with Marvel’s “Agents Of SHIELD” yet? If not, I understand you since the first season dragged on a little bit and at times was finding me questioning whether or not I wanted to stick with it. Of course I decided to rally behind it since once on the DVR its always easy to zip past the slow parts. Plus I wanted to see how much referencing was being done to the films that are coming out faster than ever. Anyway, the second season begins tonight and I’ve added the poster, premise and casting. Check it out.
Premise: The series follows the character of Phil Coulson, with Clark Gregg reprising his role from the films, and his team of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) agents. The season sees Coulson, the new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., attempt to rebuild the organization with his team of agents and allies, following its collapse with the infiltration of the terrorist organization Hydra. They are forced to operate in secrecy due to being wanted fugitives, and hunt down the remaining threats of Hydra. Several characters from Marvel Cinematic Universe films and Marvel One-Shots appear throughout the season. (taken from Wikipedia).
