Ne Obliviscaris Announce First-Ever North American Tour
Hey Metal Legions, now I know you are all super excited about the ready to get underway Guns ‘N Roses tour but I am here to let you know that there are other things happening in the world of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal and they relate to some truly fascinating musical enterprises. The other day I got the press release about this first-ever North American headlining tour by Ne Obliviscaris and I’ve embedded the press copy beneath the poster. I’ll return with some thoughts to wrap this all up. Let’s go.

Australian progressive metal visionaries NE OBLIVISCARIS have announced their first-ever North American headlining tour. The tour begins on July 12 in San Diego at Brick by Brick, and runs until mid-August. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below. NE OBLIVISCARIS, hailed as “One of the absolute best live performances I’ve seen in living memory” (No Clean Singing) are touring in support of their acclaimed new album, ‘Citadel’. The album, which has been called “a game changer” (Sputnik Music), and “complex, mind-bending metal” (Decibel Magazine) is streaming here. NE OBLIVISCARIS previously unveiled a video for the track “Curator” here. “Curator” is the final movement taken from a larger composition titled “Painters of the Tempest (Part II): Triptych Lux”, off the band’s new album, ‘Citadel’.

Ne Obliviscaris Announce Last Minute Headlining US Dates
They say that when life hands you lemons you make lemonade and in this case when a tour your on finds the headliner with Visa issues, you quickly book some side shows as a headliner to not find the time a complete wash. Such is the case with the band Ne Obliviscaris who announced a three night batch of headlining shows while they await the arrival of Cradle Of Filth. Check them out below the poster.

Cradle Of Filth Cancel Four Tour Dates Based On Visa Issues
Not too long ago we helped present the upcoming tour dates for the new Cradle Of Filth tour that was bringing them to our shores once more and finding support from both Butcher Babies and Ne Obliviscaris but sadly the first few dates of the tour have been cancelled based on the always problematic Visa issues which was announced yesterday. Dani Filth’s statement is below the original tour poster that was used in my larger tour posting HERE. Check it out.
“With a massively heavy heart, Cradle of Filth have to announce the cancellation (for now at least) of our first four shows in the U.S, because of a visa issue with the American embassy. We are doing everything in our power to rectify this situation as fast as possible. It is an nightmarish situation for all and we can only apologize for all those fans who have bought tickets. Thank you for your understanding and please be assured we are doing everything we can to be with you as soon as is humanly possible and that should be 31st January in Charlotte, North Carolina. We look forward to seeing you then. For refunds, please contact your point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
