PiercingMetal Thoughts: I have to say that the DC Universe animated movies are miles ahead of anything that they have released on the big screen that feature some of our favorite superheroes. Of course as a faithful comics fan to canon, I get a little rant going when too many liberties are taken. This trailer looks great but I did have one qualm as a reader of the original issues as they played out. When Doomsday fought the Justice League, he did so while half secured in the suit you see him in. He only had one arm free and he pretty much wiped out the League. It was a testament to the creatures unbridled power that he could and did beat the Justice League as a whole with one arm tied behind his back. Anyway, that’s just me bitching and moaning. The plot of this one is pretty self-explanatory because in the comics Superman did die. It will be interesting to see this scene played out in an animated film. What do you think of this trailer? Chime in down below.

Dig The Omitted “Simon Williams” Posters From “Guardians Of The Galaxy” Vol. 2

Marvel Studios’ “Guardians Of The Galaxy” Vol. 2 has been doing gangbusters at the box office and I am thinking that it’s going to surpass the film that preceded it without a doubt. So the reason for this new post about the film is to share a bunch of posters that were omitted from the film despite the initial intent to have them be featured. This is a pretty big deal for fans because they featured “actor” Simon Williams, who many fans know as the superhero Wonder Man. Check out director James Gunn’s brief Facebook mention below the official Theatrical Poster.

“Here are ALL of the Nathan Fillion as Simon Williams/Wonder Man posters cut from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in one place.”
