It was just about a week ago when I shared the Official Trailer for “The Fugitive” which is the next foray into short-form entertainment from the folks over at Quibi. Today this series has just gone “live” for those who are finding this method of entertainment to their liking. Let’s review the new poster, premise and casting before I close up with some editorial opinion.

The Premise:
When a bomb rips through the Los Angeles subway train he’s riding on, blue-collar Mike Ferro just wants to make sure his wife, Allison, and 10-year-old daughter, Pearl, are safe. But the faulty evidence on the ground and “tweet-now, confirm-later” journalism paint a nightmarish picture: it looks to all the world that Mike was responsible for the heinous act. Wrongfully—and very publicly—accused, Mike must prove his innocence by uncovering the real perpetrator, before the legendary cop heading the investigation can apprehend him.

Some of you readers might remember my sharing some trailers for this new Quibi short-form streaming service in an effort to upgrade the amount of content in our Pop Culture focuses. The first show that we discussed was their take on “Most Dangerous Game” and if you click the highlighted text you can see those narratives. Next up comes their new version of “The Fugitive”. This was a very popular show in the fifties and also a great movie with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones so let’s see how they modified this premise with the first Official Trailer online now. Enjoy.
