It was only a couple of months ago when we last discussed the upcoming Stephen King mini-series “The Stand”. This will air episodically over on the CBS All Access streaming service and if you missed the dramatic trailer please click HERE for some quick background. The Premise:

It’s without question that the streaming services have been kicking it up a notch with the content they are offering their subscribers which during a global pandemic is a very, very good thing. CBS All Access has just released the official trailer for their upcoming mini-series with Stephen King’s “The Stand”. Netflix Presents: “Death Note” Official Trailer

Fans of the Japanese Manga “Death Note” will likely be very excited for the live action feature film that is coming to Netflix and is based on this series of supernatural stories. This film is the first American go at the tale which already has had three live action films made in Japan. Check out the full trailer which was released yesterday and then learn some of the cast and overall premise further on down.

The Plot: In Seattle, a young man comes to possess a supernatural notebook, the Death Note, that grants him the power to kill any person simply by writing down their name on the pages. He then decides to use the notebook to kill criminals and change the world, but an enigmatic detective attempts to track him down and end his reign of terror. (thanks Wiki)
