It was only a couple of months ago when we last discussed the upcoming Stephen King mini-series “The Stand”. Fans of the Japanese Manga “Death Note” will likely be very excited for the live action feature film that is coming to Netflix and is based on this series of supernatural stories. This film is the first American go at the tale which already has had three live action films made in Japan. Check out the full trailer which was released yesterday and then learn some of the cast and overall premise further on down.
The Plot: In Seattle, a young man comes to possess a supernatural notebook, the Death Note, that grants him the power to kill any person simply by writing down their name on the pages. He then decides to use the notebook to kill criminals and change the world, but an enigmatic detective attempts to track him down and end his reign of terror.
