If you are thinking that the sheer amount of concerts happening one after the other is almost impossible to keep up with then you wouldn’t be wrong about it. As we’ve already pointed out, the city keeps on climbing back to a more normal status and the entertainment industry is rallying hard to put these amazing bands back on the stages around us. One of the latest crushing Metal shows to come our way is from Sweden’s Katatonia who recently signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records.

The Details: Katatonia is truly a band of experts when it comes to bringing intense levels of melancholy and atmosphere to their music and of course their live shows. I’ve caught them a number of times over the years and have been impressed each and every time. Their most recent album is entitled “City Burials” and the upcoming “Sky Void Of Stars” will release in 2023. They will be hitting the Sony Hall with The Ocean Collective and Cellar Darling and thanks to the fine folks at Blue Note Entertainment a few of the Metal masses will be enjoying this show for free. As I compile these notes for the readership, I’ve got to admit that one of the last things I felt I would be composing was a tour announcement of any kind and sure, I’ve done a couple of them over the last few weeks but they still kind of surprise me when it comes to anything being scheduled stateside. That said, here is some news from the crushing Metal artists Jinjer.
