This year, Marvel Comics will honor the 40th anniversary of Miracleman’s modern era with a transformative year for the iconic super hero. In addition to announcements for upcoming new collections of his groundbreaking stories, fans witnessed a monumental development in last year’s TIMELESS #1: the herald of Miracleman’s grand return! In anticipation of his upcoming era, a new collection of variant covers will show Miracleman fighting alongside some of Marvel’s greatest heroes for the very first time. Welcome to our March Media Madness posted aimed at the magnificence from the Marvel Comics side of the fence. For those just joining in on these kinds of posts, it’s a continually running series of comic book solicitations that showcase the first issue offerings from the publishers and features some official press copy and artwork along with our thoughts on the batch. Keeping up with the comic book coolness that is heading our way in December, its time to shine a spotlight on the folks at Marvel Comics who will be starting our preparations into 2015 with two new titles in “SHIELD” and “All-New Miracleman Annual”. As I’ve done before, I’ve procured the cover art and creative teams behind these titles and have respectfully copied the premise from official press copy or their online descriptions for your benefit.
