After a very successful first in person comic convention in NYC in 18 months last July 17th 2021, the Big Apple Silver Anniversary Comic Con is locked in for September 25-26, 2021.

We are a NY staple, an historic, iconic, New York comic book and pop culture collectible event, serving the pop culture community. Non-corporate employee owned, we are of the city, in the city, and all for NYC, providing family friendly entertainment and one of the best known and frequented Comic Book collectible trade environments in United States.

Hey there, hi there, ho there! I am back with the second chapter of my explorations of the Big Apple Comic Con for 2016 which tool place on Saturday over at the Penn Plaza Pavilion. Exploring Big Apple Comic Con 2016: Part 1

Yesterday, New York City hosted the Big Apple Comic Con over at the Penn Plaza Pavilion and this fun-filled comic book convention is the brainchild of the one and only Mike Carbo. I spent a few hours at the Con shooting photos of both the vendors and the wonderfully creative cosplayers and here is a batch of my visuals. Enjoy. I’ll start off my presentation with a few pics of the great Neal Adams who had a large number of tables downstairs on the lower level. It’s always great to see Neal and the family.

Happening Today: The New York Comic Book Marketplace (3/1/2014)

Clearly I am going to too many wild Heavy Metal shows because the rattling in my head prevented me from realizing that the “Mike Carbo New York Comic Book Marketplace” show is happening today until just last night. This doesn’t affect you at all of course since I was still able to get this broadcast post online for your indulgence just in time.

The one day only convention will take place at the New Yorker Hotel on 481 Eighth Ave @ West 34th Street. Tickets are available at the door for $20 for the 10AM start and there is a $40 early 9AM entry that gives you a $25 gift certificate to one of the vendors and a jump on some of the other collectors. There will be a costume contest and hundreds of dealers selling comics, and other assorted collectibles. Scheduled guests include Joe Sinnot, Jim Steranko, Neal Adams, Billy Tucci, and many more. Sadly, PiercingMetal will not be in attendance at this event so if you do go, please fill us in on the coolness in the comments below which have been left open for you to do so.
