The Official Trailer for the new series recently dropped and I’ve embedded that for you all down below along with the premise and voice cast. There’s even a poster so please check it out.

The Premise: The story follows Clark Kent as he builds his secret identity as Superman and explores his mysterious origins, and Lois Lane, whom Clark develops a crush on and vice-versa, who is on her way to becoming a star reporter. The Premise:
Person of Interest is an American science fiction crime drama television series created by Jonathan Nolan that premiered on September 22, 2011, on CBS. It is produced by Nolan, alongside J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk, and Greg Plageman. It centers on John Reese (Jim Caviezel), a presumed-dead former CIA agent who is hired by a mysterious billionaire named Harold Finch (Michael Emerson), to prevent impending violent crimes predicted by the Machine, a mass-surveillance computer system that relays the identity of a single person predicted to be the crime victim or perpetrator. Their efforts to covertly infiltrate the lives of their targets and mete out their particular brand of justice attracts the attention of two NYPD officers: Jocelyn “Joss” Carter (Taraji P. Henson) and Lionel Fusco (Kevin Chapman), both of whom Reese uses to his advantage during his investigations. Reese and Finch are later aided by Samantha “Root” Groves (Amy Acker), a highly intelligent computer hacker and contract killer whom the Machine later designates as its “analog interface” with administrative access, and Sameen Shaw (Sarah Shahi), a former ISA assassin who dealt with the “relevant” (terrorism-related) targets unknowingly fed to her by the Machine.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I realize this isn’t one of the usual “On Screen” posts since its not superhero related but I haven’t missed a single episode of “Person Of Interest” since it premiered and have to say that I will miss this show very much when it goes away at the end of this half-season. My main “C.S.I.” ended months ago leaving me only with “C.S.I. Cyber” which I don’t think is going to continue for much longer and while the procedural shows can wear you down with their heaviness, there are some that are much better than others. I’d be sure to program that stuff in if you enjoyed this like I did because the final episode airs in the first weeks of June meaning they will be doubling up the show either in a row or during the week and I know you want to see how this all plays out. Do you watch this show like I do? If so let me know your thoughts in the comments section.
