The Premise: Following Dr. Stephen Strange’s spell at the end of the film “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, the world has forgotten that Peter Parker exists. Four years later, Parker anonymously protects New York City as the hero Spider-Man. The pressure from crime fighting ignites a threatening physical evolution in Parker, forcing him to deal with that while also investigating a series of crimes that leads to a powerful threat.

As the fourth and final day of the 2018 Comic Con International: San Diego (or SDCC) draws to its close, I am continuing to showcase the trailers that hit yesterday from The CW Television Network. You’ve probably already noticed that there have been quite a few trailer posts going live over the last couple of days and if you haven’t, then you should click HERE for the rundown of these narratives. This one gives us the preview of the DC Comics character Black Lighting. Let’s look.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I remember reading the original “Black Lightning” comic series and liking it and developing even more affinity for the character when he joined Batman’s “The Outsiders”. It will be very interesting to see how they bring this character to life on his program which amounts to the fifth DC Superhero show airing on The CW Network. “I Zombie” while a DC show, is NOT connected to the Arrowverse and apparently neither is BL which I think is a mistake. Hopefully they rethink that and give us some crossover stuff with the character. So what about you folks? Will you be tuning in tonight on The CW? Chime in down in the comments section below.
