Earlier today, PiercingMetal was one of the fortunate members of the media in attendance for the “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” The Super Live Press Review and our clip, select images and a few thoughts about it can be found by clicking HERE. Just a few moments ago, the production announced a limited amount of tickets being made available for each of the three performances that will be taking place at the Playstation Theater beginning tonight so I will waste no more time yammering and instead just share the news down below. “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” The Super Live, (http://sailormoon-official.com/stage/superlive/us) a new live 2.5D Musical entertainment based on the wildly popular manga (comic book) at PlayStation Theater (1515 Broadway at 44th Street) has sold out its entire run. Today, the producers announced that a limited quantity of additional tickets will be put on sale at 12pm noon for all three performances: March 29 at 8PM and March 30 at 1PM and 5PM.
Directed and choreographed by TAKAHIRO (Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet Tour) with book by Akiko Kodama (Takarazuka Revue Company), and music by HYADAIN (Momoiro Clover Z; AKB48). “Pretty GuardianSailor Moon” The Super Live had its US premiere in Washington D.C. at The Warner Theatre on March 24, along with its run in New York. With its themes of love, justice and friendship, the musical features an all-female cast; there are some male characters, played by women.
