Presenting The 44th Annual Saturn Awards Winners

saturn awards logo

It was a few short months ago that I shared the nominees for the 44th Annual Saturn Awards. It was my very first time showcasing these particular awards in our narratives but with my continuing to serve up as much of the proper geek stuff in our Pop Culture focuses, this celebration fits right in. The winners were all revealed yesterday so check out who won out in the eyes of the votes in this committee. That’s the folks from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films in case you forgot. To make this an easier list to digest, I’ve left the nominees rundown in as well so you can see who won big out of the batch. It’s very likely that some of your favorites won while others did not. Let’s check it out. I’ll come back at the close for a few additional thoughts.

Opening: “Logan” (3/3/2017)

I’ve broadcasted a few times about the latest chapter in the live-action saga of the X-Men’s own Wolverine and that film opens up in theaters everywhere today. I’ll admit that I wasn’t crazy about the first trailer, but the second made me a little more intrigued and you can review it as well on THIS LINK. The film opens in March and will be here before you know it so I was happy to see a second trailer get released. Check it out below.
