Toho Launches “Godzilla.com”; The Official Website Of “The King Of The Monsters”

Now that “Avengers: Endgame” has been released and is breaking historical box office records, we can move our attention over to the next important Geek film which is “Godzilla: King Of The Monsters” which opens on 5/31. I showcased the Final Trailer HERE a few weeks ago and was excited to share the news about the first-ever Official Godzilla website. Take a read on down below. I’ll return with some closing editorial at the end.

The Press Release:
Feel the rumble as one of the most iconic monsters stomps its way online with the global launch of the first-ever official Godzilla website from Japanese entertainment studio Toho Co., in time for the highly anticipated film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters releasing on May 31.

Commemorating the 65th anniversary of its screen debut in 1954, Toho is connecting Godzilla fans around the world of all ages through exciting content from more than 30 films, comics, art, apparel, toys, encompassing the entire Godzilla universe.

“We’re thrilled to unleash a world of content around our most beloved Godzilla,” said Keiji Ota, CGO (Chief Godzilla Officer) at Toho. “Fans have been longing for a universe that celebrates the all-mighty king of monsters and Godzilla.com delivers the most exciting news and stories about upcoming events, new merchandise and special releases as we commemorate the 65th anniversary of Godzilla.”

Now Playing: “Pokemon: Detective Pikachu” in Theaters Everywhere (5/10/2019)

I’ve already discussed the film “Pokemon: Detective Pikachu” over on my Lifestyle Entertainment website “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” by sharing its first two trailers (seen HERE and HERE) and if you haven’t yet enjoyed that weirdness I cannot stress it any more emphatically that you do since its some wild stuff. Today, the film opens up in theaters everywhere and I think that this is going to be one crazy ride. Let’s review the premise and casting after the theatrical poster.

The Premise: In the Pokémon universe, Tim Goodman is a former Pokémon Trainer and the son of prominent detective Harry Goodman. When his father disappears in a car crash, Tim arrives in Ryme City and ends up meeting Detective Pikachu who was Harry’s former Pokémon partner. Tim is somehow able to understand the Detective, and they reluctantly team up to find Harry and uncover the mystery surrounding his disappearance. Chasing clues through the streets of Ryme City, the dynamic duo soon discover a devious plot that poses a threat to the Pokémon universe.

Opening: “Pacific Rim: Uprising” in Theaters Everywhere (3/23/2018)

If you are a fan of giant monsters fighting robots then you will be excited for the sequel to “Pacific Rim” with Legendary Pictures “Pacific Rim: Uprising”. This film opens today in theaters across the country and we wanted to remind you of it. Let’s go over the premise and casting after the super cool poster below.

The Premise: It has been ten years since the Battle of the Breach and the oceans are still, but restless. Vindicated by the victory at the Breach, the Jaeger program has evolved into the most powerful global defense force in human history. The PPDC now calls upon the best and brightest to rise up and become the next generation of heroes when the Kaiju threat returns. Thrust into this is ex-Jaeger pilot Jake Pentecost, son of the late Stacker Pentecost, who is given a chance by his adopted sister, Mako Mori, to unite with the world and fellow Jaeger pilots to prevent humanity’s extinction. Legendary Presents: “Pacific Rim: Uprising” Official Trailer 2

The second Official Trailer for the sequel to “Pacific Rim” came to light just a short time go and with a hefty plate ahead of us here at the Media Command HQ I said let’s get this right out to the readership. For those new to the program, this sequel is called “Pacific Rim: Uprising” and you it takes place many years after the original film. Let’s take a look shall we.

Legendary Presents: “Pacific Rim: Uprising” Official Trailer

The Official Trailer for the sequel to “Pacific Rim” came to light a couple of weeks ago, but with so many television and film posts thanks to the annual NY Comic Con, I decided to wait until the smoke cleared to share it with our readership. So the sequel is called “Pacific Rim: Uprising” and you guessed it…..”They’re baaaaaack”. Check it out below and then examine the premise and some casting. Don’t worry I will toss in my opinion as well as a closer.
