It was a couple of months ago when we helped broadcast the news about the soon to come reopening of Irving Plaza (seen HERE) which was great to see because live music is something that I have missed very much. The Press Release:
480 days. That’s how long it’s been since our stage has been dark and our doors have been closed. In the beginning of 2020, we were celebrating our longest streak of consecutive sold out shows with some of our favorite artists, and then suddenly it wasn’t clear what the future of live music would be. POSTPONED: Origin @ Le Poisson Rouge

Based on the ban of large gatherings in NYS over the growing Coronavirus Pandemic, this show has been postponed to a later as yet unspecified date.

Origin and Beneath The Massacre will set sights on LPR in Manhattan and tear the place a new one. They’ll be joined by Open the Nile and Begat the Nephlim as well. Come on out early and maximize your Metal evening.

The Press Release:

“Hello again,

Sunday evening, New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio announced an executive order to close all music venues across the city. The decision on how to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak has been taken out of our hands and we intend to comply with the mayor’s order. We are working on streaming live performances and programming, unveiling archived concert footage, and engaging the independent music community like never before. If you are a musician or have a musical story to tell – let us know! We want to enable you to get the support you need. Now more than ever, we need the healing power of music and art.
