Just seven days until we unleash the full 72 Seasons musical experience on the world! We are super excited to announce that we’ll be celebrating the album’s release all week long with our great friend Jimmy Kimmel, who generously hosted our last AWMH benefit bash in December. In a first for the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, it’s “Metallica Week,” as we will be the musical guest each night, beginning on Monday, April 10, through Thursday, April 13.

Metallica Announces “M72 World Tour” for 2023-2024

We told you about our new album 72 Seasons, so what’s next now that we’ve escaped the studio? Hit the road, of course! You want a tour, we’ve got a tour… how about two full years worth of shows?!?!

Over the past few years, we have been so inspired by the dedication and family/community vibe of the fans who traveled to San Francisco for our recent weekend celebrations, first in 2019 with the two S&M2 shows, followed by last year’s 40th Anniversary shows. On top of that, we had a blast being a part of the 2021 Wimmer Festivals when we played two nights in one city, each with a totally different setlist. With all of that in mind, the M72 tour was born!

Last night, the mighty Metallica closed out a day of music and speeches for the 2022 Global Citizen Festival. The event was an all day affair taking place in the spacious Central Park. Though we didn’t attend, we’ve secured the spot where their own set kicked off for those folks at home who want to rage from the safety of their own living rooms. The band starts at the 9 hour 10 minute mark in case you click somewhere else on the video and want to get back to the Metal quickly. They come on right after President Biden and his wife say their stuff about the world, the climate and other political stuff…
