You probably think that you are imagining things but you are incorrect as Anthrax is really playing SVB. It’s a charity event for Gilda’s Fund and all proceeds go to the cancer charity. This will sell out immediately so act fast if you are seeing this before others. Don’t wait on anyone to get your ticket as they who hesitate are lost. Imagine that. Anthrax in a room the size of a large apartment. Insanity. Kyng will also appear.

Artist: Seether and Papa Roach
Venue: Terminal 5 (New York, NY)
Opener: Kyng, Islander
Date: 1/20/2015
Label: Concord Music Group/Eleven Seven Music

We were just about three weeks into our musical year of 2015 and I had to say that I was incredibly amused at how this evening’s show was going to be my third for the year. Yeah a little bit slow to start considering my usual schedule but believe me I have greatly enjoyed the slight breather. Anyway, there were a few reasons that I wanted to catch this show and the top two of them are because I had never ever seen either Seether or Papa Roach live in concert before. That’s right my friends, despite having seen over 1000 shows and some 2300 total acts since starting my writing adventures I have never had the chance to offer my scrutiny to these two co-headliners so it was without a doubt that I was excited. Winter was now fully upon us so I will admit that I hated the fact that this show was being held down at Terminal 5 which is about a week or so walk from the nearest subway station. However the Metal Gods were smiling as it was not as brutal as it could have been and the snow was not being forecast until sometime next week. Tonight’s show was also going to find the talented support bands of Islander and Kyng but I would not make it to their sets based on the early start time of this gig and the travel that was involved so I apologize to fans of those acts for not having anything to offer up in this narrative. Let’s get down to business.
