Announced earlier today at Polygon, fans will return to the SPIDER-VERSE this August in a brand-new EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE limited series! Over the course of five issues, EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE will introduce brand-new Spider-heroes as well as catch up with classic favorites such as Araña, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Gwen, and Spider-Man: India! Each thrilling issue will contain three stories packed with debuts, new status quos, and seeds for an overarching saga that will set the stage for THE END OF SPIDER-VERSE, a new epic launching later this year.
“Marvel has decided to do the unthinkable, go big, and bring the saga of the comic book Spider-Verse to a fiery conclusion,” Slott shared with Polygon. “Yes, that’s right. Later this year we shall all bear witness to THE END OF THE SPIDER-VERSE!”

This August, the series will mark 100 issues and Marvel Comics is proud to celebrate the book’s legacy of incredible creators, dynamic cast of characters, and brilliant storytelling with a special giant-sized issue. The 38th issue of author Rainbow Rowell’s critically acclaimed run, this landmark comic will feature art by series artist Andrés Genolet as well as Kris Anka and the return of the Runaways’ co-creator, artist Adrian Alphona.
Since the very beginning, RUNAWAYS has been known for its twists – and the last few issues have revealed some of the biggest twists in the book’s history. Last month we shared the news about the upcoming “Thor” series from Marvel Comics and if you missed that announcement just click HERE to be up to speed. Now we’ve begun to get the variant covers that were done by some of the industries best creatives. As you might expect, I will be continually adding to this original narrative as each cover gets revealed instead of posting a brand-new single post. This worked out well for the recent Artist Variants for “X-Men” #1 and “Fantastic Four” #1 so why change a working process.
